Souta Sasaki (CV: Shimatarou Ibuki)
The designated seme and hero of this work. He's a normal, 22 year-old college student who enjoys flirting with his girlfriend, drinking with his friends, and sometimes he does some studying, too. Then one day he contracts the Candle Sickness, and his desperation turns him into a nasty sadist.

Haruki Mishima (CV: Haruka Himesaki)
An 18 year old boy so beautiful one would think he stepped out of a painting. Thanks to his naturally weak constitution and timid personality, he has no friends and spends all his time reading books.

Manabu Minagawa (CV: Mion Namiki)
A high-powered businessman who graduated from a prestigious university and now works as a management consultant. He's very capable when it comes to human resources, but often forgets the "human" part. He also tends to look down on others.

Mitsuo Yasuda (CV: Tokomara Musuya)
A 40 year-old man who managed to live as long as he has despite contracting Candle Sickness early in life. His wife died in a traffic accident and he has no kids, so he's prepared to die with no regrets. Typically he cares more about other people than about himself.

Shuuji Shibusawa (CV: Tatsuya Hirai)
A foul-mouthed researcher at the hospital. However, he's a good doctor who will treat any and all patients without fear... at least that's what he tells himself.
