I've purchased both Battle Blaze versions but I would say that both works can also be enjoyed on its own. The important story points is included in both works without missing any important details.

I watched blue side first because tanned characters are my favorite and was really impressed by the animation effects such as suit breaking, the pleasure fall counter and the impressive lab setting. The scenes are mostly considered machine stimulation because the slime bed is connected to the indoctrination device which is also a very unique setting.

The unexpected ending also made me go watch Red Side to compare Red's sequence. Lets hope for a sequel!
