This is actually my second time getting Synthesizer V Studio Pro as I got a laptop just to use SynthesizerV on the go! :)
SynthesizerV offers such a wide range of controls and vocalists, including my absolute favourite synthesizer vocalist of all time (Aiko). It updates often and regularly with industry-shattering changes, such as adding cross-lingual synthesis and new languages for every AI vocalist, or major overhauls.
It also comes with a free vocalist, Mai, who is incredibly expressive! I use her for adorable, heartfelt songs, but it seems like she can be used for anything!

Having enjoyed the newer Megpoid talk so much, I came back to this release to finally get it. She is so incredibly adorable, and makes a perfect partner to Megpoid for Vocaloid 6!
Because of the use of fine speech, you can tune the speech as if it were singing in a piano roll editor. This freedom of movement within it allows you to convert speech to VSQx (for v3), which can be converted to any project file necessary. This freedom allows Megpoid Talk to be the perfect companion to any and all Megpoid releases by allowing them to talk too!
Megpoid Talk also comes with two default voices, an unnamed masculine and unnamed feminine voice. Both of them have quite strong personalities, and are great counters for Gumi's adorable-ness. With them, you could also map out using the VSQx export for more vocals and have a better idea of how they'd react.

SEKAI Talk Extension is an amazing narrator. For existing fans, it really is like having control of her voice as it is in her podcasts and live events.
Despite the somewhat plain names for her emotions and lower number of them, they are some of the most effective we've had in quite a while in Voicepeak, I would personally say on the level of the legendary narrators Asumi and Shuo! I haven't felt like I needed to shoot in the dark with the default pitch to make her emotion (especially anger) more expressive, and so she has full pitch range to make use of her fantastic expression!
SEKAI Talk also goes very well with the voice she is an extension of- you can quite easily match her emotions to her attributes- however, I have to say if you want SEKAI Talk to match SEKAI with no emotions, you will need to use an external formant editor. This isn't a huge sweat though, she's perfect for any kind of SEKAI user!
I think she also stands out enough alone to be used just as a narrator. She is fantastic for both very casual and very emotive speech.

This is the most modern release of GUMI, with some amazing features!
- near native cross-lingual capabilities for English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Spanish
- Voice tension, tone shift and breath control for realistic and/or emotive output
- natural vocals with the same familiar GUMI tone
I felt using GUMI is almost like using a Standard library in workflow, but with all the benefits of AI such as the aforementioned cross-lingual options. Her reaction to tension and breathiness is very pleasant, it makes me so happy that a new vocalist can still do this! This may not appeal to everyone, so please keep this in mind when you get her.
GUMI's vocal modes are a little ineffective. I hope to see GUMI update like other vocals have and make them stronger to achieve the full GUMI range of tones in the future!

HARU!! The long wait is over!
Haru has the quality of a vocal with emotion without having the slider, you would think she is somewhere between a 1.0 and 2.0 vocalist. She is amazingly clear and stable in most situations, and has a fantastic range, perhaps one of the widest yet!
Haru has the most note attributes of all, with some dedicated specifically to her unique trait: rap! Rap is a slider that changes the attitude and pitch of the vocal, which can be easily fine tuned via the note attributes. These special attributes still work in normal singing scenarios, so mixing it up gives a lot of freedom and room for creativity!
If you prefer transcribing rap by perceivable pitch of each syllable *then* editing the intonation, Haru is for you. She is a dream come true!
Her tonal range is also very wide, like Coco, skewed more towards gentle → screaming than whisper → screaming, but still, she is now in the top ranks for dynamic mark range!
I highly recommend her for beginners and advanced users!

Lovely composer is a dream come true. With an easy to read (and CUTE) interface, you can very quickly create an entire track! There's even a chord specific display using emoji to indicate the usually-perceived emotion of said chord. It's absolutely genius! There is a really nice variety of classic tones that are displayed with very easy to understand graphics. I think beginners and advanced composers alike will enjoy it.

Haruno Sora, who is definitely, totally, 17- is an amazing representation of her long-standing character and her voice provider, Kikuko Inoue. She is one of the few mature feminine vocalists on Synthesizer V and is a huge breath of fresh air!
She, like many other Synthesizer V releases, is the Sora to unite all Sora's and is able to mimic and match any other Haruno Sora release.
Sora has a really amazing range of modes:
Sweet (I would say this is closer to her Natural Vocaloid voicebank)
Soft
Adult
Pop
Cool (A mix of this, adult and pop is closer to her Cool Vocaloid voicebank)
These allow her to sing a HUGE range of genres!
My only complaint is that she cannot achieve the same masculinity or resonance of Cool, but she more than makes up for it in her flexibility otherwise.

This Pitagoe may be the second collection, but it contains many basics, so it stands out on its own very well! Aisatsu, exclamations, introductions, etc.
These are perfect to use with her Voicepeak and the first Pitagoe volume!
The variance of tones in this pack is higher, with some ASMR-style and some shouting sounds.
I'm so glad there are more voice clips to use!

I just recently upgraded to Voidol2 when 3 came out- and I'm glad I upgraded when it came out.
Voidol 3's synth mode is even more broadly fine-tunable, so much I've accidentally made the sound very strange! However, its capabilities are still impressive! You can create aspiration tracks for any human or vocal synth alike, and mess with their gender expression. I feel like a version of Voidol is an essential if you do lots of whispering content!
The soundboard is smaller now but easy to use as ever, there are also new sounds included.
AI mode's improvements are huge. I've been getting better and more accurate responses from every voice regardless of whether their voice models previously did or did not work on me. It seems that every voice will respond to any kind of input, though not always 100% the best, it still bridged the gap and allowed me to use voices I had not been ablet to previously!
The inclusion of many free voices is very appreciated! It gives the whole classic voidol experience!

By default, IA has a very very cute and high-pitched tone. However, with a quick change of parameters you can make her match her normal tone to accompany her song banks.
IA has 4 emotions:
Bright, Normal, Strong and Dark
The default is normal.
Bright is a light and happy sound.
Normal is the default, very announcer-like.
Strong is almost angry, a lot more assertive!
Dark is a soft almost sad sound.
Even though she shares emotion names with her sister ONE, they do vary enough to grant even more expressions.
IA is very worth getting especially if you have her song banks. Her initially cuter tone may be off-putting but I feel she's able to match the song banks, and the song banks can match her default talk tone
