The forgotten town of Sennengahara is host to spirits who have nowhere else to go.
One day, a high school girl named Sakura, who can see spirits, meets two foxes.
The foxes proclaim Sakura to be the next protector of Sennengahara, meaning she'll be reborn as a "himegami" or princess god.
Sakura is naturally freaked out but, the town is now facing a bigger problem...
