[Story]
The autonomous region of Crossbell, located in Western Zemiya --

Once the site of heated battles for territory between the Empire and the Republic,
it is currently the thriving center of international trade and finance on the continent.

However, both the Empire and the Republic are placing increasing pressure on the region,
and elected officials on both sides are embroiled in political disputes.
Meanwhile, the mafia and foreign criminal organizations are on the brink of war.

In the chaos, people have lost trust in the Crossbell Police Department. But four of its young members have gathered...

Lloyd Bannings, a rookie investigator,
Elie MacDowell, the granddaughter of Crossbell's mayor,
Tio Plato, a young mage wielding an Orbal Staff,
and Randy Orlando, a womanizing former security guard.

This ragtag group is assigned to a new division, the Special Support Section,
and forced by the harshness of reality to work together and overcome adversity.

This is the story of young people trying to conquer obstacles,
and of the people who live in the light and darkness of the metropolis of Crossbell...

[Characters]
- Lloyd Bannings (CV: Tetsuya Kakihara)
The main character of the story, and a rookie investigator on the Crossbell Police Department.
After his brother, also a police investigator, died 3 years ago, he went to live abroad,
but he was top of the class at the police academy and returned to Crossbell after obtaining qualifications to become an investigator.
He's honest and sensible, but at the same time gets fired up when it comes to fighting violence and injustice.
His weapon of choice is an extendable police tonfa, which he uses to control his opponents' moves and render them helpless.

- Elie MacDowell (CV: Aya Endou)
The granddaughter of Crossbell's mayor.
She has doubts about Crossbell's political climate amidst the fierce conflict between the Empire and the Republic.
She spent time studying abroad to learn more, but for certain reasons wanted to join the police.
She's a bit of a goody two-shoes in front of others, but she's also a brave girl who dabbles in competitive marksmanship.

- Tio Plato (CV: Kaori Mizuhashi)
A girl belonging to the distinguished and technologically advanced Epstein Foundation.
She was temporarily transferred to the Crossbell Police to test out the new "Orbal Staff".
She speaks calmly and has an impressively blunt personality, but she's no misanthrope.
Her staff can change modes and unleash powerful magical attacks.

- Randy Orlando (CV: Shinichiro Miki)
A former security guard under the employ of the Crossbell Guards.
His bad behavior concerning women got him fired, and he was brought into the Police Department instead.
His carefree attitude when picking up girls belies his kindness and reliability when dealing with people younger than him.
He's tough, highly skilled in battle, and able to wield his "Stun Halberd" with ease thanks to his great strength.

- Sergei Lou
The chief of the Special Support Section.
He's competent but very set in his ways, which tends to irritate the top brass,
but he was placed in charge of the Support Section for various reasons.
He prefers to leave Lloyd and company to their own devices, providing minimal advice and assistance.

- KeA (CV: Rie Kugimiya)
An innocent girl who comes under the protection of Lloyd and the others through the course of the story.
Though she has lost her memories, she has a cheerful demeanor that doesn't show it.
Her friendly and curious personality instantly endeared her to the party,
and she occasionally hints that she may know more than she lets on.
