When I first saw this, I liked the art direction-but I wasn't sure if it would be anything special looking at the tags. Even with my very limited understanding of Japanese, the writing in this game achieved something that many other games have tried to do, but were often poorly executed. Normally, when looking at a synopsis where it's an otome game centered around a 'Club Suicide', you wouldn't hold the expectation of it being something exceptionally profound. I went in thinking that it would maybe be shallow and perverted-but I was instantly proved otherwise. Every single character have such a realistic depth to them that they don't fall into tropes and just like Ringo, you're just as uncertain about what they're thinking. Usually, in visual novels like this, I'll pick a favorite. But all of them were very easy to like, even if their design didn't catch your eye right away. I couldn't bring myself to do or finish some of the bad ends. It all felt entirely too real. What a perfect execution of something so delicate. What a hopeful dedication to love.
