The mysterious black lipstick is being heavily promoted everywhere, but the couple Zen‛ichi and Akari can’t help but wonder about it.
Zen‛ichi secretly protects the world as the justice hero Braver Z, and once again, he is called into action.
Meanwhile, after their long-awaited date is suddenly ruined, Akari finds herself strongly encouraged to try “NOIR ROUGE” by her friends, who seem strangely different from usual.
“Just this once…” Akari decides to give it a try.
Unaware that the sinister lipstick will stain not only her lips, but her body and soul in deepest black―――

Black, purple, and other cool-toned lipsticks just have that villainous vibe, don’t they? And when someone who normally never wears them falls to the dark side and starts wearing dark-colored lipstick, I find it makes the whole corruption feel even more exciting.
You occasionally see that kind of thing in tokusatsu hero shows, so maybe that’s what shaped my tastes. Haha.
I still love hero shows, partly because I’d watch them looking for that kind of thing.
This time, I decided to focus on “trooper transformation”—the kind where a character loses her individuality and becomes one of the faceless foot soldiers.
I’m happy that I got to bring another idea I’d always wanted to draw to life!
