Aimaime's "Mega x Mega" contains a number of 4-coma manga about Homura and Madoka from the anime Mahou Sho*jo Madoka Mag*ca. In it, Madoka decides to wear glasses in order to match Homura.
To start; the art in "Mega x Mega" is adorable. Homura, Madoka and Mami all look very cute in it. The story is the best part of this doujin though in my opinion. Homura's love for Madoka is displayed in an amazingly cute way. Every page will definitely be heartwarming for any reader that enjoys cute Shoujo Ai stories.
Overall I highly recommend "Mega x Mega" for any fan of Madoka and Yuri stories in general (especially if you like the Madoka x Homura pairing).
"Takane, Irori, Ami, Mami and Yukiho; Survival in Zombie Infested Raccoon City" is a cross-over parody of the IdolM*ster and Bioh*zard/Resid*nt Evil games wherein 5 idols from 765 pro tour in Raccoon city and experience the zombie outbreak. Also included are a number of unrelated IM@S 4-coma comics.
The comics really shines in the humor department as it's simply hilarious and very clever. First off the concept itself is really funny; it's quite simply the most mismatched cross-over I've ever heard of (Idols and Zombies, lol). Moving on there's a lot of very funny direct parodies of scenes from the Bioh*zard games. Next, the ways the idols handle the situation is hilarious as well. Overall... to put it simply, the whole comic is a laugh riot.
In conclusion this is a must buy for fans of Idolm*ster and Bioh*zard (preferably both). It's hilarious, especially if you've played the games before. At 60+ pages you're certainly getting your money's worth.
"Layer Ray SF Shooting" is a vertically scrolling shooting game. As one would expect you basically just move up and shoot stuff while dodging bullets (as with any other game in the genre).
The game itself is more or less the same as you'd expect from any other entry in the genre. That being said though; it's still quite fun. Regardless of how many times this concept is used it will still be fun. Also given the fact this is a 105 yen game, it's pretty hard to pass this up.
Overall I'd say this game is pretty worth picking up if you like scrolling shooters. It's only 105 yen so it definitely can't hurt.
"Arcade Style 4" is a collection CGs which (as the title suggests) feature arcade characters from a number of games such as Street F*ghter, King of the F*ghters and Mushih*me-sama. The art all comes from different artists and can be viewed in multiple different resolutions.
The art contained in this collection varies in quality. Given each work is a by a different artist, there's no real "standard" quality; they're just all different. Some pictures are excellent, but not all. That being said the variety is good enough and the number of quality images is high enough to make this worth it.
Overall I'd recommend this if you like any of the characters contained in this collection of images.
"Tiny Breasted Girls in the World of Breastism" is a somewhat absurdist comedy Doujin manga about two girls (Rika and Youko) whom are discriminated against for their small breast size.
The art in this doujin is pretty decent; not great but since this is just supposed to be a somewhat absurd comedy the art really isn't the focus. What makes this manga shine is it's incredibly weird but original concept. I've never heard of such an odd story before and that alone makes this manga quite worth reading. Overall the situation portrayed in an intentionally overly melodramatic way and in turn comes off as quite hilarious.
I'd recommend this manga to anyone looking for something really different, original and a bit weird.
"Adult-like CG Collection" is a collection of CGs depicting a scantily clad woman with a gun in a number of sexy poses. The images employ a form of creative "censorship" via use of a target.
The quality of these CGs is quite excellent to say the least. The character depicted in them is by all means very attractive. The number of images is quite good for the price, and the poses are varied.
Overall I'd say this is a great collection of CGs if you're looking for something sexy but don't want to want something downright ero/H.
Ryukon's "I Don't Understand" (Wake ga Wakaranai yo) is a doujin containing a number of 4-coma comics parodying Mahou Shoujo M*doka M*gica (1 4-coma for each of the 5 main characters)
To begin; the art in "I Don't Understand" is quite good. Although the art within the comics is hit and miss, the character art featured along side each of the comics is quite well done. Being a parody, good humor is to be expected and "I Don't Understand" delivers pretty well in this department. The comics are all fairly clever and funny.
Overall "I Don't Understand" is a pretty worthwhile purchase if you're a fan of M*doka.
"Kazaana Fantasy Wallpaper Collection 2" is a set of ten wallpapers featuring odd and abstract art in fantasy settings.
To begin, the illustrations are very well done. There's a lot of beautiful detail and I can tell the author is very talented. The subject of the pictures is quite interesting. All the pictures have colorful and abstract backgrounds that are a little bit hard to "understand" and thus very intriguing. I can't say I know the story behind these pictures but they are beautiful nonetheless.
I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for some art that is unique and different. This isn't the usual "moe" art you find in Doujin but instead it is interesting, abstract and thought provoking.
"Tail Girls" (A Girl In Ponytail) is a collection of seventeen images featuring various female characters with either pony tails or twin tails.
To start, the quality of these images is excellent. The characters are extremely cute and attractive and altogether very nice to look at. There's a great variety so everyone's bound to find at least one that they like. In any case all these images would make great wallpapers.
Overall I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good set of wallpapers to use. The price is nice and cheap so even if you're not sure it might still be worth it. Especially recommended to lovers of ponytail and twin tail girls.
Sakura Saki is a Highschool love comedy about a boy named Yuuki and the many girls in his class. In Volume 9 Aoi and Saki's "Rivalry" over Yuuki continues and Aoi gets the confidence to ask Yuuki out. Also we meet Saki's older sister.
As with all the previous volumes, volume 9 still has the same great art. The story is consistently good and the plot is progressing quite nicely (while still maintaining a rather laid back feeling). Characters are still memorable as ever.
Anyways I would highly recommend this series to just about anyone; it's just plain excellent. Unfortunately this seems to be the last volume that's been released almost a year so hopefully the next chapter will be released soon.
