Akuru Hayahoshi is an unlucky otaku office worker who just can't pull her husbando in the gacha game she's obsessed with, no matter how much money she throws at it.
Until one day, she runs into the garishly gorgeous and freakishly lucky Ren Furutachi.

After a series of misunderstandings, Ren proposes to Akuru, fully intending to make her her wife. Eventually, the two begin dating.

The two lived happily together in romantic bliss, but then Akuru discovers that Ren’s first choice of career on her school survey was... “Akuru’s wife”!

This put her off a bit. Then Ren’s old classmate from middle school, Aira Udo, turns up, fanning the flames of Akuru’s jealousy. It looks like she’ll have to accept Ren’s proposal at last, impulsive though the decision may be.
