The Fruit of Grisaia

[Story]
This academy is like an orchard of girls.

The one who's come to this place, hidden as it is from all outside threats, is a lone boy who has lost his reason to live.
He has no sense of who he needs to protect; regret and repentance are his only companions. His life is little better than that of a dog burdened by a heavy chain around its neck.
But after meeting the girls at the academy, things begin to change...

Her birth itself was a mistake...
The crime of disobedience...
A life no better than death...
Nobody is going to protect you...
Living on can be its own punishment...

This was an orchard of girls.
Girls like trees of remorse bearing penitent fruit.

Yumiko Sakaki (CV: Hikaru Isshiki)
A student at Mihama Academy since its founding. Her father is the head of a powerful and influential company, making her a something of a "princess".
Her long, dark hair compliments her beautiful face, and her speech and mannerisms speak to her good upbringing.
She tends to avoid people and doesn't get involved with them unless it's necessary.
Because of this, she seems very hard to approach, but she's actually got some surprisingly common tastes when it comes to things like food.


Amane Suou (CV: Sora Yukimi)
A girl with eye-catchingly slender legs and a well-developed chest.
Not only is she the school's sole third-year student, she's also a caring, big sister type whom everybody trusts.
She exudes stability and wants to take care of Yuuji, too, but she often plays childish pranks or makes silly mistakes.
As the daughter of well-established restaurant owners in the city, she's confident in her cooking skills, and is good at housework overall.
It's not exactly accurate to call her a sexy older girl, but it's not inaccurate, either, which makes her a little dangerous.


Michiru Matsushima (CV: Rei Hani)
A girl whose blonde twintails are as much her trademark as her mischievous personality.
She wants to be a tsundere and has trained herself to act like one, but people still consider her a "fake tsundere" anyway.
She's pathetically bad when it comes to studying, but her bright and cheery personality has endeared her to the rest of the class.
She worries often about her bad luck; there's a rumor that she once got every result in a store lottery EXCEPT the prize.
Since she's not good with sour food, it's a mystery as to how she gets so much vitamin C.


Makina Irisu (CV: Tomoe Tamiyasu)
A free-spirited and naive girl -- at least she appears to be. It's hard to get a read on her.
The word "idiot" doesn't quite fit on its own, and there's something frightening lurking behind her good manners.
Most people can only talk to her for around five minutes before getting freaked out. At first, she was shy around Yuuji, but gradually came to think of him as a big brother figure.
They say that her family controls a large corporation that rules Japan from behind the scenes, but anyone who finds out the truth seems to wind up miserable.


Sachi Komine (CV: Mikasa Okamura)
A girl who's often mistaken for a maid at first glance thanks to her strange outfit.
However, she's actually a student at Mihama Academy, and just wears the maid outfit because someone told her to.
She's just as quiet, serious, and reserved as she looks -- perfect qualities for a maid.
Thanks to her taciturn personality, however, she often takes jokes too seriously and frequently tries to literally enact unusual expressions or euphemisms.
In spite of this, she's also quite stubborn. Thanks to both her diligence and her status as the youngest student, the class president often assigns her menial tasks.


Yuuji Kazami
A new transfer student to the school that's cut off from the hustle and bustle of society.
He lost his older sister in an accident when he was young, and with no parents to speak of, he's being raised by a German couple.
Thanks to his long-standing friendship with the chairman of Mihama Academy, he was able to enroll under the guise of a foreign exchange student.
He has an extremely measured personality and doesn't speak often, but one can tell he's got reasons for the otherworldly impression he gives off.
Even so, he's quite earnest and maybe even a little too serious, and spends his days working at his adopted parents' business.
