The girls believed God would bring them love...

Since olden times, it was said that a certain shrine could grant the blessing of marriage.
Lately, however, it's gained a reputation for something a bit different... as a place that invites beneficial disasters.
Now if you go there, they say your break-ups will all go smoothly, and unwanted suitors will leave you alone.

Three girls, each with their own thoughts...
"I must sound so stupid..."
"Somewhere inside, I believe this charm will bring me love."
"If the gods exist, then I hope they can grant my wish..."

When they make their wishes at the shrine, three different love stories begin...

[Story]
Ever since the shrine's gotten popular for the disastrous blessings it's supposed to grant, the head priest's daughter Yachiyo Shizuki has been pretty busy.
Ichitarou's staying there for free, so he might as well help out his childhood friend.

That's when Ichitarou noticed something. Though Yachiyo listened to her father and worked as a shrine maiden, she didn't believe in any of it.
Not the protective charms, not the gods, nothing. And she no longer smiled like she did in the old days. It felt like in some sense, she had given up.
She didn't even have friends at school. She was always alone.


Then, one night...
Ichitarou sensed a presence and awoke. Yachiyo was there on top of him, staring into his eyes. But something about her felt different.

"Honestly, I..."

Her petite, classical beauty hid her thoughts, her worries, and her yearnings... She'd opened up to him, and Ichitarou felt he needed to comfort her in turn.

"Oh gods, this must be the right thing to do..."

"It sure is"

"Wait, what...?"

[Characters]

The petite, traditional shrine maiden:
Yachiyo Shizuki (CV: Yuina)
Ichitarou's childhood friend, and the daughter of the shrine's head priest. She works as a shrine maiden.
Despite her small frame, she's actually one year older than Ichitarou. Her parents were very strict when she was growing up, so she's become a truly (tiny) traditional woman -- both modest and pure.
Her young appearance and her special position give her some trouble at school, a fact that she has resigned herself to.
Though she's the daughter of a priest, she doesn't believe in the gods or protective charms around her.
Or so it seems...


Characters

Ichitarou's caring kouhai:
Hiwa Kojika (CV: Haruto Tsuruya)
Ichitarou's kouhai at both work and school. She's honest and cheerful, with an overall very girlish personality.
Even Ichitarou thinks of her as a cute and personable girl. She's the one he talks to the most at school (except for when she's got a scowl on her face).

The aloof and world-weary classmate:
Nio Aritagawa (CV: Kanau)
Ichitarou's classmate, famed throughout the school for her beauty. She has an unapproachable air about her and is always sitting by herself in class, chin resting in her hand, and looking very bored.
Ichitarou hasn't spoken to her outside of school assignments.

The Goddess of Marriage(?):
Goddess (CV: Mia Naruse)
The unfortunate goddess whose wedding blessings are famous for always ending in disaster.

神社が最近『破局のご利益』で変に有名になってしまい、
巫女である宮司の娘・紫月八千代も大忙し。
一太郎はしばらく居候させてもらうことになった手前、
そんな幼なじみの彼女を手伝うことに。

そのうちに、一太郎は気づく。
八千代は親の言うことを素直に聞き、毎日巫女の仕事を努めているけれど……。
彼女はお守りのことも神様のことも、信じてはいなくて。
それに、昔のように笑わない。
いつもどこか諦めたような雰囲気を漂わせていて。
学校でも友達がおらず、孤立気味みたいで。

……しかし、ある夜。
一太郎がふと気配を覚えて目覚めると、八千代がまるで別人のような雰囲気で自分に覆い被さり、顔をのぞき込んできていて。

「本当は、自分も……」

小さな大和撫子が秘めた想いと悩み。そして、あこがれ。
自分だけに聞かせてくれたんなら、汲んであげなきゃいけない。
そうですよね、神様！

「うむ！」
