What are "Official DLsite Genres"?

They are the genres that can be selected from the "Advanced Search" filters on DLsite. From mainstream to niche, there are now over 300 official genres to choose from.

How to check:

  • 1. Click "Advanced Search" next to the 🔍 icon

  • 2. Select "Genre"

  • 3. Check out the list of official DLsite genres

Can I answer for both "All Ages", "R18", "Otome", and "BL"?

Yes. For Question 2, you can select multiple choices and answer for each. If you want to submit your votes for more than one section, please complete the survey again.

Will new genres be added?
Yes. There is a field where you can suggest new genres. Based on your suggestions and last year's results, DLsite will review and consider adding new genres.

Can I answer multiple times?
Yes, but only your most recent submission for that section will be counted.

Can I review my responses later?
After the survey ends, your responses can be viewed on the result page. If you would like to keep a record, please bookmark or take a screenshot of your response screen.

I feel shy about answering honestly...
Do not worry! Results will be published anonymously, and no individual answers will be disclosed. Your preferences and interests will remain completely protected.
