A Friendly Greeting By the Neighbor

A little girl rang my doorbell.

"We just moved next to you. This is, uh, please have this gift."

Her voice was a barely audible mumble. She offered me a large plate.

Slightly confused, I took the plate as a reflex, and when I looked down my confusion turned to shock.

"Th--this is---!"

The little girl and I watched some movies together, but overcome with drowsiness I fell asleep.

After who knows how long I woke up, and with blurry eyes got my bearings...
