炬燵(こたつ)の中に、何かいるかも知れない。
子どもの頃にそう思ったことはないだろうか。

そんな妄想は子どもの頃に卒業した。そう、ほとんどの人は自分を分析しているだろう。

だが、もし。

もし、あなたの運が良かっただけだったら。

貴方の存在そのものを取り込んで、醜悪で異形な何かに変えてしまう、因子がそこにいたら。

これは、あくまで作り話。
運良く貴方が、今日もその中身を見ていないなら。

～～

こたつの中と外という、非常に狭い空間の中で、ほんの目と鼻の先で、自分の体が形を失っていくことに気づかない状況の不気味さと、そしてそれに気づいた時の絶望感。
当サークルの中でもかなり危険度の高い過去作を、枚数、差分、色付きでCG集化しました。
ただの触手、それよりハードな苗床でも何か違うと思っているあなたに。

今も要望の多い当サークル初期の怪作、『こたつとオリジナルキャラ』(公開終了)の差分絵をさらなる時間をかけてアップデート。
ホラー調のストーリーを加えた『炬燵(こたつ)』として蘇らせます。

複数の基本絵と心理描写、そして当時作れなかったフルカラー化を加えた、不気味な雰囲気で再構成しました。

異形、肉塊化、同化など、当時の尖った表現を久しぶりに。

表紙除基本絵11枚、差分カラー41枚、キャプション37枚、着色前のモノクロ44枚。

絶望的な変異の過程と、2012年版では描かれなかったその後までを描きます。
