Story

At the Hakurei Shrine...
"Reimu! Look at this! What do you think it is?"

"It just looks like a card with some stupid picture drawn on it."

"Hold it!"

Marisa Kirisame handed Reimu the card that Cirno had drawn on.

"It's cold! What is this? Did you freeze it?"

"Nope, it's just cold on its own. There's magical power sealed inside!"

"I wonder if the rumors are true..."

Rumors, of course, meaning the whispers of mysterious "Ability Cards" circulating throughout the city. These cards hold the powers of many different humans and youkai, or so they say. And it seems that vendors selling these cards are already lurking throughout Gensōkyō.

"The card rumors are true."

"Seems like it. This may be quite the incident..."

And so Reimu set out on her investigation to determine what exactly the cards were doing in Gensōkyō. The best place to start, of course, is the people selling them...
