戦争の中で成長していくエースパイロットの軌跡

　本作品は艦〇れの二次創作として2017年冬コミにて、サークル「海事アニメ普及会」で頒布した作品です。

　舞台は深海棲艦との戦争まっただ中の日本陸軍航空隊。そこに所属している主人公は戦闘機「隼」の新米パイロットとして物語がスタートします。幾たびもの空戦を経験するにつれて戦闘機乗りとしての才能を開花させ、陸軍きってのエースパイロットとして名が知られるようになるまでが前半戦の物語。
　そんな彼らに立ちはだかるのが深海棲艦航空隊のエース「黒死病」。後半戦は黒死病との死闘を描いた物語です。

妖精が主人公の作品

　この作品は艦○れの中で戦闘機を中心にした物語を描きたいという思いから作った最初の作品でした。しかし、戦闘機が中心になってしまうと艦○れ独特の世界観を壊すことになりかねないため、主人公を誰にするかを迷いました。そのとき、浮かんだのが妖精を主人公にする構想です。

　実際、艦○れの小説を見渡しても艦娘では無く、妖精が中心となった二次小説はあまり見たことがありませんでした。そこで、誕生したのがこの作品です。

　内容としては最初は新人パイロットの妖精の主人公が実戦の中で成長していき、やがて深海棲艦のエース部隊と死闘を繰り広げるという王道の物語構成となっています。
