I've been wanting to buy this since it's been announced. I'm such a fan of Sarutobi Souji-san for years now, and to get a dog-hybrid character...! Yessss!!! :D

Renji is such a hardworking, focused man. Because of his past, he's become obsessed with perfection. At first, he wanted to be so good at competitive swimming because it's tied with his self-perception and self-esteem. But when Coach (you) showed him that he should swim because he likes it and it is for himself, Renji becomes less uptight and more emotional! The times he shows his emotions are so delicious to hear.

The sex scenes show more of Renji's loosening control and pull out his hidden desires for you. I truly love Sarutobi Souji-san's moaning -- it's the best! His acting shows how much he wants you emotionally and physically.

I am also grateful for the company/circle's decision to share the script. There is no official English translation, so I rely on the script provided to get a general flow of the story. With it, I can understand what's happening!

All in all, it's an enjoyable listen! Sarutobi Souji-san's acting is always 100% and it's worth its value!

I really like this series: a period piece centering on hidden obsessive desire unleashed by what is for all intents and purposes a drug. There's something erotic about the setup, and the premise of this installment fascinates me. Shiroi Gen is a journalist aspiring to work for a top-tier magazine. But right now, he has to endure writing for a third-rate paper. Uncovering the secrets of Tokyo Rose is his ticket to credibility and achievement. He meets the heroine and it's love at first sight.

Sarutobi Souji-san is such a great voice actor. He captures the eagerness of Gen's character. The way he wants to impress the heroine, and also the suspicion he has towards her. And of course, how he's so utterly in love with the heroine. Especially in the track where they're under the influence of the sugar cubes. His desperation and desire mingling is such a ride to listen to. He's so good at this -- which is why he's top favorite!

The story is a little quick in its pacing, but the bonus track and separate extras fill the gap in the story. I'm so thankful that there's a script provided so I can follow the dialogue.

Anyway, I recommend this CD! And the series as a whole! And I'm looking forward to more Shiroi Gen!

I've been meaning to purchase this even before it got released. The sample audio caught my attention hook, line, and sinker. Koitsuda Renya-san's acting is so good! I am converted immediately upon hearing the R18 samples xD

I thank the circle for including a script in the product. I don't speak Japanese; I merely understand some phrases here and there, so I rely on transcripts and translations ultimately to understand the story.

The story is a little melancholic, with Okazaki Youji pining for the heroine for a decade. Every time he talks to her there's an undercurrent of longing in his voice, mixed with guilt and despair due to an event that I won't spoil. I applaud Koitsuda Renya-san for pulling this off beautifully! The emotions are truly felt -- and I must mention the burst of that yearning once he kisses the heroine, and all the intimacy that takes place after. So hot and sublime.

Really, I could wax poetic all day about Koitsuda Renya-san's voice and his acting especially during the intimate scenes. He's so good, like, oh my gosh. Paired that with the kind of yearn-ful character like Youji, and it just ticks all my weaknesses haha.

Like what the other reviewers have said, the story ends in an ambiguous note. It's not all that happy and resolved, and that's fine with me. There's that lightness in Youji's tone at the end, signifying that he's ready to move on. I wish the circle would release -- if not a sequel -- at least a tokuten or something that shows him and the heroine in the future. Maybe cementing that happy ending or something more concrete.

Either way this is all to say that I'm happy with this purchase! Koitsuda Renya-san has made this worth buying!

Oh wow. This is intense. Depraved, and intense. I love it.

Sarutobi Souji is impeccable as always. His performance is immaculate and superb. He really nailed that drugged-out and 'drunk on pleasure to the point that it's sickening' act. You can feel his pain and desperation.

The English translation (by tintinnabulary) is great too! I usually follow along by vibes because there's no available translation for some other works but I'm grateful that this has one.
