(Female narrative)

It was a Thursday night, and I was at the end-of-year-party.

I was pretty stressed out from having given a toast and it was just getting worse as I greeted coworkers and bosses, shaking hands, being polite, trying to remember names.

Anyway, when I got to the booze I chugged it right down. Someone was impressed. "You like to drink eh?" Uh oh. More panic. More drinking.

After that I don't really remember what happened. It's all an alcoholic blur. I remember lots of cheers, lots of stumbling and socializing.

I woke up later outside somewhere and followed the light of a vending machine.

It was winter but the cold didn't bother me. Not with this nice machine to warm me. I had a thick layer of drunk on, too. My face felt tingly and soft at the same time.

I felt goooooood.

Then voices came from the nearby darkness.

"Hey, look at that woman."

"Huh?"

"Heeeey lady you shouldn't sleep here, you'll catch cold."

"Hey, are you a college girl?"

"Nice chest."

"End-of-year party?"
