I always admired and yearned to be a Hero.
Cooler than any one or thing and more graceful than any other women...
Oh my beautiful Goddess.

One day, they appeared at my village.
In search of a damsel in distress. The daughter of an aristocrat.
"Ahhhh... so charming, so fair. Our distance is unbearable..."

So I followed... In order to be with my beloved.
In order to become a Hero...

If I could become Hero, my insulting childhood friends and the men in the village would all have to recognize me!

With a knife hidden in my bosom, I left home as I always do.

Toward my destiny, toward my beautiful goddess, into the forest-----

Wasn't what I expected

I was actually under the assumption that the "girl" was the one in the cover before I listened to the audio cd. I was wrong.

The "person" in the cover is a spider. The summary is actually referring to the listener's reasoning as to why she went to the forest. Unlike the hero's agony series, the listener is not a hero, though she aspired to be one. Hence why this is only a spin-off and not part of the series, I guess.

Like most of parasite garden's works, it's not for those who like fluffy romance and happy endings. But for those who enjoyed their works, this is highly recommended.
