End of World

You were at school on [day x, month y, year z] when the great earthquake struck.
When you regained consciousness, the school was destroyed, and everyone was dead.

You alone had survived.
The world had changed.
The sky was choked with grey clouds, and there were no living plants.

An old newspaper helped you understand the situation.
It talked about "the world-ending war" from 100 years ago.
You hadn't just been in an earthquake -- you entered a timeslip into the future.

So, you wandered.
Waiting to starve to death. There was no water, no food.
... and then, the cry of a young girl.
Someone else was alive.

Following her voice you found her being r*ped.
They were some kind of tribalists with mohican war paint and everything.

Civilization had ended but mankind wasn't extinct.
It survived and even thrived on violence.
To live, you wander.
