A young woman escaped from there. She fled into the deep woods, arriving at the home of
a vampire named Kairu and his cat Kei.
In trembling words she told her hellish story.

Kairu was unmoved by this strange visitor, until something in particular she said.
Together with Kei, he went to confront the aristocrat -- an eternal prince whose eyes
were gold like his hair.

The walls of the castle reeked of blood. Kairu's mind
was assailed by unsettling memories.
The day he met L'arc, the day he first drank blood, the revelation of his mother...
