結婚生活が始まり、はや十年。
順風満帆な日々を過ごしていたはずだったが、それだけが大きな悩みだった。
もちろん、妻に対して愛情が薄れてしまったわけではない。
それなのに、いざという場面で全く機能しないのだ。
いったい何故……その原因は、いくら考えても思い浮かばなかった。
「あぁぁっ……もうっ！！」
「――おい、どうした？ 急に変な声出してｗ 悪目立ちしてんぞ、直太朗ｗ」
「ぅおっ！？ な、なんだ……司か」
突如背後から声をかけられ、素っ頓狂な声を上げてしまった。
振り返ると学生時代からの旧友《道邦司》が、こちらを心配そうに覗き込んでいた。
「んだよ、そんなに驚くなってｗ しょっちゅう顔を合わせてるんだからよぉｗ」
「いや……まぁ、そうなんだけどさ……」
