Pretty good versus puzzle game with fairly confusing rules

It's quite rare to see versus puzzle games apart from the infamous Puyo Puyo, Puzzle Fighter, and Panel de Pon. Puzzsinker is another "Doujin" game released by Cat's Whisper that have fairly unique mechanics. Color blocks are not falling down like a usual puzzle game, you can swap (x button) and drop (z button) blocks at anytime but the blocks are not normally clear by just matching color. You can connect blocks of the same color and setup combo as big as you want that you can activate the block clearance by drop the blocks with c button, preferably to its matching colors. Only time pressure comes from an attack that drop timed blocks similar to Puzzle Fighter. There are many characters which could be familiar for those who play the original game and every of them have different characteristic ranging from the block appearances to special mechanics. However, like the original, Puzzsinker uses cryptic messages to describe the messages in game which could pull up the learning curve considerably and the fact that manual is in Japanese doesn't help understand the game much apart from guessing the pictures in the manual. It's still a pretty good game with hidden potential for those to whom the rules are understandable.
