You follow the story of TigerToe, whose biggest wish (apart from peace) is to become a knight when graduating from her school. The school educates students in the arts of magic, battle and summoning.

When we take part of the story, the students are slowly preparing to summon monsters before the sacred summoning ceremony is meant take place.
Each student has as a goal to summon one monster for themselves with an item they have decorated. During the ceremonies students then try to make pacts with their summoned monsters.

But TigerToe has other things apart from school to worry about... her obnoxious rival is trying to take her fiancé from her, the economic situation of her peers and a war that could be approaching her home.

The art in Precedent Maker Episode 1 was nice, the characters distinct and the story interesting. The battle, as in the second screenshot on the product page, was presented in an original way. The engine used worked nicely; you could easily scroll back if you wanted to reread something.

The story started out a bit slowly, but got quite exciting near the end. It felt a bit short, but for the first episode of a series it was of good length.

I hope to see the authors continue this series, it has potential and I look forward for more! I haven't played many visual novels, but I quite liked this one.

I recommend Precedent Maker!
