Again....Fox Eye has outdone himself

Even tough it's only a CG set compared to Fox's other products which are's a must have CG set if you are a fan of underwater fetish.
The art is beautiful with high quality. Small visual effects and stunning audio add really nicely to the scenes. The story is quite interesting too and the character is quite cute and appealing, drawn in the typical Fox Eye proportions-enjoyable and hot.

Again even tough it's not a game I recommend to download this product.

This album contains most of the vocal songs from the Bloody Chronicle albums, along with some of the instrumentals.

Try the "free demo" to check out the crossfade track of several album tracks! If you haven't heard many (or any) Jill's Project songs, the crossfade is great for a taste. As I haven't found another band like them, I won't bother to tell you what genres I think Jill's Project is in: just listen! A sign of a talented band is that no one song - or even a handful - can define them.

The songs in this album vary greatly in style; the only thing they have in common is that they all move fast. Some are harder than others... some have gentler melodies... but they're all strong and fast. And, for M*lty Blood, they should be!

The Ladybeast of the Moon is a favourite of many: this is probably the 'slowest' song out of the bunch, and it uses that slower flow to build up to a cry.
Basilical and Anything Natural are perhaps the most melodical.
Homidice Intention and Violence Roar (my favourite!) are probably the strongest feeling.
In the Future and Beside the Corpse are an amazing mix of both melody and strength.

In contrast to the songs, the instrumental tracks are generally gentler and subtle. The exception is Fairy tale transparently, which is more forceful. Even if you like fast, strong music, you'll need these gentler tracks to help you appreciate the faster ones! They're also beautiful in their own right.

Untitled Demo Tracks Vol.2 -Remaster- + Suite "Kamui"
$5.05 / 540 JPY | 50pt (10% back)
The background music from the popular fighting game "Melt* Blood" is arranged into beautiful hard rock versions.
SoftwareMusicMP3Inc. MusicTrial
  • Release: Dec/16/2008
  • DL: 1

Keywords the reviewer selected :

The title of the album may say "demo" tracks, but all the tracks together are about 30 minutes - so the size of a smaller Scarlet Fantasia album. The Kamui suite itself is 15 minutes long!

The 3 demo tracks (about 5 minutes each) are pretty strong and powerful, while the Kamui suite is steadier throughout and has soft moments. Kamui also has a notably different sound than I've found in other instrumentals such as in Scarlet Fantasia. If you're already a fan of the Jill's Project and Masashi Okagaki and Friends instrumentals, you'll want to pick up these tracks too.

It also doesn't cost much, so you have no excuse not to pick it up!!

This visual novel is fantastic from beginning to end, and definetely a must for all Miku fans. Although short this novel is definitely sweet as well, and it presents such a dreamy scenario having the protagonist character live with Miku. Although you make no dialogue choices this is hardly a loss as the story is so good you will want to play until the end. Supplement Time really has created the perfect read here with fab CGs to boot. Thanks to Zoom909 for making a English translation patch available for this fantastic novel.

Well drawn and pretty vore in black and white. It's in adobe PDF, so it's a nice standard format. If you're like me and too lazy/tech incompetent to fiddle with region settings, this is lovely.

The price is good and I do like the art. It's a little short, but it cost as much as a big mac and fries. Overall, I'm happy. BUT, if you don't like vore, skip it. There's NOTHING ELSE.

But vore fans, go for it. It's a good buy. A decent price and well made.

Pickup!Vast and Deep Underwater Exploration

Water Leaves - Big tree of Mizugami - (Language: English)

An action game where you go off on adventures in the water.

I have always loved products made by FOXEYE, and Water Leaves is another great game to add to my collections. For a gamer who wants adventures filled with lots of deep underwater explorations, you'll find this game to be quite interesting, specially for people with underwater/drowning fetish. Plunge into an adventure which will take you to the vast and deep waters of Water Leaves.

Gameplay, I would say, not so boring yet not so action-packed either. It's an exploration and item collection type of game. The main driver for the adventure is getting into new areas after improving your own clothing and equipments. And you get to improve your equipments and get more items by searching for components to improve or create them. That's where more adventure comes in. If you find yourself drowning or failing often in certain levels, it must be either because you need better equipment or some items, or there are several things that you may have missed. One rewarding thing that you should find interesting is that you get to unlock more extra-game features and new places as you progress through the game. Your player's outfit also changes, and I would say that it's rather something to look forward to.

Characters are well drawn and animated in 3D, and so are the big environments where you get to explore on. Game graphics may be nothing compared to modern game's graphics, but this is one of the good looking underwater exploration games out there where you get to control a girl, other than FOXEYE's sensuii game and Blue Port.

Twenty bucks for this game isn't that bad. Overall, I rate this product a four out of five, and I highly recommend it to people with underwater/drowning fetish.

Syosui Tou 1
$2.02 / 216 JPY | 20pt (10% back)
Released in '01 Sep. The first item in Shosui Tou series. In 1981, in a seashore town, a pair ofa boy and girl came across a strange object.

I don't want to give away too much of the plot so I'll just say it involves urban exploration, mystery and mizugi. The scenery and architecture are nicely done and there is plenty of/to intrigue. It made me remember the dreams I used to have as a child where a hidden passage or door would appear somewhere I knew in real life and lead to a series of mysterious rooms. It was always so very disappointing when I woke up.

Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this and recommend it highly, especially to fans of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.

Pickup!A puzzle game you shouldn't miss

AQUA CUBE (Language: English)
$16.16 / 1,728 JPY | 160pt (10% back)
An action game where you rescue a boy or girl who has been trapped within a cube like aquarium in the water.

Anyone who has interests in puzzles, mixed with lots of underwater settings, should find AQUA CUBE as a very interesting game. The puzzles of the game aren't that difficult if you have the time and patience to solve them. It just requires a bit of creativity and some thinking in order to be solved. I'd actually say that this is one of the many puzzle games that I've enjoyed a lot. The challenges have really got me thinking, and most stages are even thrilling as you'd get a time limit when the girl you're rescuing is restrained underwater.

The 3-D game designs are well done. The characters which you play looks cute and awesome as they appear somehow like their chibi forms. The idea of situating this puzzle around a cube is also a very interesting idea for a 3-D puzzle game. There's also a helpful stage panning which can help you plan to solve the puzzle.

I do appreciate the Developer's efforts to translate the game into English, but it takes some time to understand what is meant by the dialogs and stuffs like that. Still, the game isn't very much focused on those dialogs anyway, so the cool and challenging gameplay overcomes that.

As for gameplay, you get to use the mouse which I think is a very comfortable and efficient way to play the game. As you also progress through the game, you get to other worlds which shall offer more challenges than the previous ones. And there's also a very handy "restart" button if you ever get yourself stuck in any of the stages.

I highly recommend this game to people with Underwater Fetish, and those who got lots of patience solving a puzzle where you might sometimes find yourself doing trial and error. I'm sure that you'd get to love this product. Overall, I rate this product a five out of five.

Pickup!Wonderfully surreal

Inside the grassy patch
$9.09 / 972 JPY | 90pt (10% back)
Summer vacation. A story about what lays within the soft grass.
GameDigital NovelEXE
  • Release: Mar/23/2010
  • DL: 34

This is a wonderfully surreal, all-ages (sort of) game about three students and an alien researcher during a summer vacation.

This story is set in a rather small Japanese prefecture, where you the male main character, stumbles upon one of your classmates dresses in a humiliating outfit. Shortly thereafter, you are contacted by an alien and told that you are part of a social experiment, and your adventure goes on from there.

I very much enjoy the author, Awatake Takahiro’s unique blend of the surreal and the mundane. While most current artists tend to focus on cute/sexy characters to move the story along, Awatake does more and really lets the setting tell the story. Every one of his stories, no matter how simple, has some hidden depth in the background which makes you think “Something is a little bit… off here.” You can’t find that kind of quality nowadays.

Story: 10/10 Although short, the story was charmingly put together. The text is in Japanese, so you will either have to know how to read Japanese, or find a translation patch.

Art: 10/10 The art is charmingly old-fashioned, in a modern kind of way. It is difficult to explain. To me, the art feels like a sexier version of Dennou Coil (an anime that I absolutely loved).

Music: 5/10 …It has no music, which was a bit disappointing. Some background noise, such as generic insect noises, with the occasional cicada chirping, would have drastically improved the ambiance. However, the silence is strangely fitting.

Replayability: 3/10 There are two routes with no branches or choices beyond who you decide to follow around. You will probably play through the game twice, to see each girl’s route and unlock all 14 pieces of CG.

Overall: Besides the lack of music and low replayability, this is a great game from a talented, if not well known, artist. I sincerely hope that more of his work comes overseas, because he is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stagnant (although still entertaining) market.

Pickup!A fun little $4 shooter

Hatsune Integral
$3.03 / 324 JPY | 30pt (10% back)
M*ku Hatsune rages across the country with a one-handed uzi! Cute, fun action platformer game.
  • Release: Dec/16/2010
  • DL: 5

Keywords the reviewer selected :

A simple little game in which everyone's favorite V*caloid trades music for pumping lead into cute cartoony characters in an effort to cover all of Japan with leeks. (A noble quest if ever there was one.) Jump around, shoot, and get to the exit of the level.

An upgrade mechanic is present, where you take the coins earned by shooting enemies and buy a quicker firing rate, more health, or more bullets per clip. (Essential for the two bosses.)

It's quite a short game, and very forgiving (death just means you restart the level), particularly if you attack the birds on the third level (northern Kyushu) over and over again to get tons of cash for upgrades.

There's a few annoying bugs if you go exploring a bit more than the developer intended (with some dedication and wall-jumping I found myself outside a level with no way in but to quit and restart) but only on a few levels. The auto-save feature alleviates the pain of that mistake fairly well, letting you quit and not lose much progress.

To summarize: Four bucks for an hour of cute retro platforming fun. Worth it? Depends on your opinion of four bucks, I guess. There's definitely free Flash games out there that tread similar ground, including ones that do it better, but what can I say? I'm a sucker for a cute, silly game.
