Pick Up !An improvement over its predecessor in every way

Smooth 2D pixel animation gives this action side scroller a familiar feel. The monsters a varied and cute, but the cuteness does not spoil the impressive vore content. Every monster has multiple vore animations when it devours whichever of four female characters you have chosen. Some of the bosses have even more animations that can be quite elaborate and kinky.

If you have any interest in vore or just a responsive 2D hentai action game, then this is for you.

Pick Up !Echidna Wars DX is a Must Have

This game is absolutely fantastic, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of it's more eroge related content.

First of all the gameplay is more than solid. I cleared the game once through on Normal difficulty and it was very challenging but also very fun. You have a choice between 4 characters who all play differently in fun and interesting ways. The combat is satisfying, controls tight, visuals good, and best of all there's baked in controller support which I wasn't expecting.

Additionally I enjoyed the enemy variety. Every enemy, save for two later level enemies, felt unique and interesting, and the combinations of send enemies can make for some unique and challenging encounters.

Specifically pertaining to its E content, I honestly have never been more "entertained" in any doujin, video, or other eroge game I've ever played. Can not recommend more highly for any other vorephile. I honestly somewhat regret getting such a fantastic game just because I honestly don't know what to play next, what could possibly compare.

respectable platformer with excellent vore

Short & sweet action platformer with some really excellent vore animations. Came for the smut, stayed for the combat; I was pleasantly surprised with how well-designed the game is! Challenging, but not too frustrating. The good design falls off a bit on Stage 3-2. The level design there looked lazy and the fights were more a test of endurance than skill. Made up for it with a great final boss, though. This one's worth picking up!

Pick Up !Excellent action game!

This game is amazing. It took me several tries to beat Normal difficulty, and I still haven't beaten Hard without using a continue—let alone Chaos (the hardest difficulty)!

Enemies are diverse and interesting; only three are "palette swaps" of others, and even those are mechanically distinct from their original versions. Not a single fight was uninteresting. Even the most basic enemies are dangerous if you're careless.

Every enemy has its own set of attack patterns, and the difficulty determines how threatening those patterns are. In other words, the difficulty level does not merely determine how much damage is dealt and received—it determines how intelligent the enemies are!

As for the protagonist, there are four distinct characters with totally different fighting styles. Each character's moveset is well-developed and stands apart from the others as a unique playstyle.

Despite the game's lack of story, events still progress in an intuitive way. Things never feel random, dull, or meaningless—and they never feel repetitive, either.

Aesthetically, the sprite design is great, and an appropriate amount of attention was paid to both background art (which is done quite well) and background music (which is marvelous).

The clothing damage system is integrated with gameplay in a way that's actually interesting and meaningful: the same resource that keeps your shirt on is the one you spend for special attacks.

When being held, animations progress at your command, or can be skipped entirely to save time (or squick). All animations can be viewed in a post-game gallery, with every feature you could possibly ask for to customize the animation you're viewing.

If you like watching pixelated girls in varying states of undress get devoured by strange monsters—often through tail orifices—this game is your dream.

If you like hellishly difficult—but fair—action games, pick this one up!

My only complaint is that you can't remap the controls.

This is a really good game. It has a difficulty you can set from the beginning so you can enjoy the game for skill or a casual play. There is a good amount of content and the character classes are varied and interesting. The animation is also top notch even though it is pixels. I also like that it unlocks stages as you progress allowing you to repeat bosses for practice. I am really enjoying playing the game and look forward to the next one.
