Pick Up !A new benchmark for pixel animation

Just in case you're thinking pixel art is a little overdone, just in case you think you've seen it all, be sure to check out D-Gate's "Echidna Wars DX" and get ready to marvel at the quality on display.

"Echidna Wars DX" is a side-scrolling brawler/ platformer hybrid with fast action, leveling systems and four very unique heroines to choose from: sci-fi valkyrie Mirea; fireball flinging wolf girl Sachiho; bunny-eared, catsuit-clad special agent Usaco; gadget packing android TGO-07. Each has a very different look and moveset, all brought to life with stunning pixel animation. Seriously, this has to be seen in motion to fully appreciate.

Absolutely essential

Pick Up !Excellent side-scroller and vore action

The gameplay is solid in a style similar to other beat'em ups like streets of rage. The characters are diverse in looks, movement, and fighting style. The controls are tight and the combos are good.

The enemies are unique with different attack patterns and vore animations. The pixilation on the animations is well done with options to zoom in and speed up.

I definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoys side scrollers or vore.

Echidna Wars DX

Pretty much what it says on the can. Has no CG or the like, but the art has a nice retro feeling to it without being outdated. The preview images should be enough to tell if this game is for you, in regards to the art style. Another nice thing about the game is that different characters aren't just cosmetic, they have slightly altered scenes as well and play like unique characters, not rehashes of the main character. Though be warned that this is not some game with vore as a side fetish, this is almost exclusively focused on vore with a little bit of restraint, yuri with monster girls and transformation. If these aren't things you're into, you'd best look for something else.

Though you can use whatever difficulty you like, it isn't exactly an easy game. Early on most attacks can easily be evaded, especially with Milia (blonde character with multiple jumps mid-air), but certain enemies and bosses can be pretty challenging, at least until you learn their attack patterns and how to deal with them. A bit more music would have been nice, but overall it's a pretty good successor to the first game and superior to it in most ways. Quality content, like all of D-Gate's works.

Pick Up !An improvement over its predecessor in every way

Smooth 2D pixel animation gives this action side scroller a familiar feel. The monsters a varied and cute, but the cuteness does not spoil the impressive vore content. Every monster has multiple vore animations when it devours whichever of four female characters you have chosen. Some of the bosses have even more animations that can be quite elaborate and kinky.

If you have any interest in vore or just a responsive 2D hentai action game, then this is for you.

Pick Up !Echidna Wars DX is a Must Have

This game is absolutely fantastic, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of it's more eroge related content.

First of all the gameplay is more than solid. I cleared the game once through on Normal difficulty and it was very challenging but also very fun. You have a choice between 4 characters who all play differently in fun and interesting ways. The combat is satisfying, controls tight, visuals good, and best of all there's baked in controller support which I wasn't expecting.

Additionally I enjoyed the enemy variety. Every enemy, save for two later level enemies, felt unique and interesting, and the combinations of send enemies can make for some unique and challenging encounters.

Specifically pertaining to its E content, I honestly have never been more "entertained" in any doujin, video, or other eroge game I've ever played. Can not recommend more highly for any other vorephile. I honestly somewhat regret getting such a fantastic game just because I honestly don't know what to play next, what could possibly compare.
