Great M*troidV*nia

Neko no Meme's "LAB -Still Alive" is a great M*troidV*nia with responsive action, a great M*gaDr*ve/G*nesis aesthetic and gameplay to match. Anyone familiar with the M*troidV*nia-style exploration platformer will feel at home here, as you explore levels with initially closed-off areas, unlocking new routes as you progress.

The pixel art is fairly simple but in the sense that they have just enough detail to look like what they're trying to represent.

Plus, from an action perspective, there's something endlessly cool about a pistol you have to reload in a sidescroller. Would recommend.

Fun Game

The game isn't too long or difficult. However this doesn't detract from the fun. A nice little explorer that has a few unlocks after completing the game.

The controls are responsive and feel good. When the player makes a mistake the consequences are rarely so serious to force a game over.

The exploration aspect is nice as well. If one is not thorough enough, it is quite possible to miss some items. This in and of itself does not make the game in-completable, nor is it impossible to backtrack and get any missed items.

The animations are smooth and enjoyable. And after completion of the game there is a gallery that allow the player to view any missed animations.

All in all, I can highly recommend this game to anyone interested.

Pick Up !Fun! Fun! Fun! (o, and sex too)

Lab Still Alive has been a "some hour long" injection of pure fun.

Pixel art and game dynamics may not be top-notch, but they blend perfectly to keep you entertained.

As for the the gameplay you have your run-of-the-mill standard platformer with incremental power-ups, weapons and ammos. With swarms of enemies, traps and bosses. But as anyone out there knows very well, when it id done in a good fashion, it never gets old, and this is the case.

As for the pixel art you have a "linear" female protagonist in a standar Run-or-rape setting. You get knocked down, you get raped, simple as it is (well, there is also the "you pull that promising lever, you get machine raped" variant).
But the protagonist is actually cute, humorous, well animated in her simplicity... and she get raped A LOT.
In different position, with progressive animation until she climaxes.
Many titles out there FORGOT that no one is actually interested in seeing the same two frames playing forever.

So if you want a fun platformer with good hentai action, this is a title you should buy.

Pick Up !Great

While the sex scenes themselves aren't the greatest the gameplay is really good. The scenes have a large variety making up for a lot of the lesser scenes. It also has interesting environments and challenging platforming. As of now it also seems to be getting constant support from the devs.

I highly recommend the game for the large amount of scenes and the great gameplay. Even if some of it is lacking you can't get a much better value for the price of the game.
