Great! I wish the others were released and translated

I love my digital novels to be interactive and loved Princess Waltz for having the card battle system in. I love Monmusu Quest! for the same reason among other things. The turn based JRPG combat makes it much more fun and I must say that they really did well to make the player want to lose to see the H scenes as no doubt the men in the universe wish to submit.

Really fun to play and enjoyable, good r*pe scenes and well thought out main characters.

A promising start of the trilogy.

Monster Girl Quest (Monmusu Quest!) is a wonderful deconstruction of many of the prevalent JRPG cliches while being an engaging JRPG/VN hybrid in its own right. It is a first part in an upcoming trilogy.
In this game we play the role of Luca - a naive village boy, who strives to be a Hero and beat a fearsome Monster Lord. While many people hate monsters and would rather see them exterminated, Luca's life dream is to see humans and monsters coexisting in peace.
At the beginning of the game, Luca is to be baptized as a Hero for his quest, but something goes wrong. Not dejected, Luca marches on his quest without his Goddess protection and is quickly saddled with a companion - a powerful monster named Alice.
Alice is the one and only heroine of the game and an awesome character. She claims to be a traveling gourmet in search of more and more interesting foreign cuisine and uses a 500 year old travel book as her guide! Alice at first treats Luca like dirt and will denounce his dream as delusional, but later she grows up to like and respect him. The chemistry between Luca and Alice is a driving force for the game.
Every monster in this game is a female. Losing a battle with any of them will end with Luca being r*ped. Now here is my biggest complaint about the game - there is a lot of H-scenes and that's good, but they are not all the same quality. Some scenes have an obvious CG sequence for a scene just as it should be, others - don't. I think that the author should have lowered the count of those scenes but increased the quality.
In essence, Monster Girl Quest is an introductory part of the trilogy I expect the other parts to be of even better quality due to this one selling well.
In the end I can heartily recommend Monster Girl Quest to everyone who likes monster girls, RPGs, their parodies and hilarious situations.

For Monster-girl lovers and softly dominated

Taking works from different creators and collaborated, this game is indeed targetted for both monster-girl lovers and softly dominated wanna-be.

The game itself seems more of adventure type while parodying those of turn-based RPG games. With some puzzle, it is easy to solve and win the battle. However, the erotic part comes from when one is being lost.

Losing the game intentionally while likely-obvious answer to win the game is given, this game intends the player to be submissive to the monster girl whom player is interested. With giving up their own control to them, it is suggesting the idea of being dominated, like an SM play. However, nothing like hardcord SM is being shown upon this game. Instead, the monsters looks the player(the main character)as a target to be used as soft play sex toy to an adorable pet and even upto the level of potential husband.

Definitely a good game worth a price if you fall into these two categories, and also for regulars if you are plainly interested in various situation plays. Still worth purchasing through enormous content volume. Make sure to check and find out if the game will work on your PC. at least applocale is a suggestion to the ones who will buy this game

Pricey but no better monstergirl game out there

I'm sure most people here have seen those translated Monstergirl Picturebook series by now. Well this is pretty much the game version of that. While the game is classified as an RPG, many battles are more like a puzzle; instead of spamming the attack command, the battles usually require you to use certain commands to win. It's not completely inflexible as you usually have multiple solutions early on, but later battles start requiring more specific actions to win.

Of course, losing is more than half the point of the game as our unfortunate (or maybe fortunate in some cases) hero gets raped if he loses. Heck, there's a battle option that essentially suicides so you can get the losing sex scene quickly. There's no overworld or exploration though, progress between battles is presented in graphic novel format. Again, it's only a RPG in spirit really.

There's a LOT of content here. The art is great and there's a sex scene with each monstergirl. There's also a story going on between that, with additional scenes that take place during the main story. There's only a few voices, but that's probably for the best here. Sex style is, well, monstergirls raping you; I'd say there's some occasional weirder fetish stuff, but that's kind of heavily implied from the start here. There's some vore involved, nothing too graphic but if you don't like it avoid this.

Overall this is a pricey game, but the amount of content is better than many commerical hgames these days. The gameplay isn't deep, but is interesting enough to break up the graphic novel sections at keep it fun. If you like monstergirls, suck up the price tag and support this guy!

A masterpiece of erotic art

After following the project for what seems like forever, it's finally here! Anyone who is into this type of thing (femdom, monster girls taking advantage of men) owes it to themselves to check this game out. It is, being an rpg, quite text heavy... but surprisingly easy to play, if you have good rpg sensibilities. Unfortunately, those who don't know japanese (like myself) will not get quite as much bang for their buck, BUT as I said, anyone who has played a few rpgs should be able to mostly figure out what's going on. Combine this with a text hooking program and translation software (try agth/atlas dictionary) and it becomes mostly understandable. Regardless, the CG alone are worth the price of admission. The artwork is very well done, and pretty hot. There is a bit of vore, so for those who aren't into that, there is an option when you first start to skip those particular scenes. Also, there are 2 difficulty levels (I think there is a third after you beat it on hard) so it can provide a surprisingly good challenge, if that's what you want. Anyways... buy it! Buy it so they'll make more!!! Just be sure you know what you're doing in regards to making japanese games work on your pc first. I'd hate to think someone bought it after reading this review, and couldn't get it working. :O
