Pick Up

A decent game with roguelike elements

This a certainly a more original attempt at an hrpg. The game has a central hub town, and then it's off to the dungeon that takes place on a board-game style map. It has strong roguelike elements as the game is clearly out to screw with you; money and item tiles can make you LOSE lots of money or be trapped, and if you die you lose all your stuff and have to start over (you can thankfully keep your level and main equipment depending on the option at death). Battles are standard turn-based RPG stuff, with Krillin from DB as the protagonist. He learns all the skills you'd expect him to from the show. You can also get a female party member to come with you. There's a whole bunch of them from various other anime, and they range from useless to nearly as strong as Krillin. There are bosses and a proper ending to it. It feels a little grindy at times, but it's ultimately pretty fun.

Unlike most hrpgs, where the game kind of lets down is actually the erotic content. There isn't much and it's really spread out. You get one scene for each of the recruitable girls when you find them, and another depending on who you choose for the ending. Beyond that there are brothel tiles spread thoughout the game where you play an odd sex-minigame. Unlike the main girls, these brothel characters are generic characters. You don't play the sex-minigame with the parody characters. You can get them pregnant but it doesn't appear to have any bearing on the story.

As a final word note, it's recommended you read Japanese for this one. The game is hard enough without knowing what the various items and options do. If you do, I'd give it a shot. It's fun and something different from all those generic hrpgs.

Kril-n gets his wish!

This is a nice lite game with occasional hentai. An enjoyable way to pass some time and see some characters from DB- in new settings. The art is nice and bright, very cheerful and colorful. You get the occasional sex scene in the form of short loop animations. Not really fapping material (at least not as far as I've gotten), but enjoyable. It's always nice to get some movement.
The game play is rather like a childrens board game, where you roll a dice and choose your path. You fight occasional monsters and enemy's and rescue maidens in the process of being raped by monsters. (Well, that part's not much like a childrens game -but still cartoons). The women are then able to travel with you - one at time. I think you're trying to win there hearts... There are some frustrations with the game, as nothing is in english - this makes learning the purchasing system and combat systems very difficult.
At least, I'm still struggling with it. But, hey, last time I played I found a bourdello - that's always a good thing!
