Training Quest II

A nice little 3d game, with a very interesting premise. You crawl through dungeons, killing monsters and gaining levels. Heres the catch, you can also catch and train the monsters you defeat. Sexually. As you break them down, they give you information on more training techniques, as well as items such as weapons/armor. You can then sell them as slaves, keep em for erotic uses, or even (in the case of some), impregnate them and release them, giving birth to new monsters later on!

Its not overly long, but a decent length, and has a decent amount of challenge to it, it balances both the erotic and RPG elements very well. This is definitely worth a look to any RPG fan!

As the others have said there's a surprising amount of content in this game. The creator has really done an impressive job. I highly recommend it.

The interface can be puzzling at times but through trial and error you can figure out most of it. There's also a short FAQ on the creator's site (the second to last choice on the left hand nav bar, and then the second choice). It solved some of the less than obvious puzzles for me. I think I'm at the end of the game since I have filled all of the training choices available. There are still two doors that I can't open (one in the first dungeon, the other in the white room with a moat in the middle).

A couple of suggestions to the creator:
Some graphics options would've been nice especially being able to run this in window mode instead of fullscreen. The character models are nicely done. The textures and view distance for the environments could be a little better. The WASD controls are nice, the mouse controls during training however can be difficult to manage when they overlap. Maybe alternative keyboard controls here as well? I also noticed that you can pan the camera with the mouse to a limited degree but not all the way. Is this a limitation of the engine?

A more developed breeding system would also be nice -maybe you can assign multiple traits to each creature, and then either pick which traits the offspring gets as an editor of sorts.

I fully agree with what LBG writes above. However, being unable to understand most messages that might help solve the occasional puzzle can be really frustrating. This one and the original Training Quest would be great stuff if they were localized into english like some other works there on DLsite.
Regardless of this, I can wholeheartedly recommend to buy this game.
Note that I started a thread in the Forums/Game Discussion with some basic gameplay explanations and menu translations and as a means to exchange questions and hints. I hope this way I can convince some folks to buy this game!

The h-game industry needs more of this; actual games where the hentai is part of the core gameplay, not tacked on to increase sales of a mediocre game. The RPG portion of the game is simple but decent enough. It's in 3D (you can switch between first-person and third-person views) and it looks decent enough for an amatuer $10 h-game. The controls and UI are sensible, and I had no trouble figuring out what everything did after about 5 mins. It's fairly basic, but there are many spells, equipment upgrades and items to keep things fresh as you progress. Where the game becomes interesting is the when you can start capturing enemies (95% of the enemies are female). You then can access a training sim mini-game. At first most options are limited, but as you train different enemies you unlock more positions and tools. You can use two slaves at once, and you unlock lesbian and futa options later on in the game. There's some abuse, but it's fairly tame S&M stuff with no blood or gore; just be aware it's necessary to do this occasionally to progress if you don't like that sort of thing.

The interesting gimmick of the game is that as you train the slaves, they will give you new spells, items, and key items. If you ever get stuck, it generally means you need to give a new enemy type and get a special item from them. You can also make some enemies pregnant. While not represented graphically, if you release these enemies afterwards new types of enemies or even mini-bosses will start appearing in the dungeons.

The game is decent length for $10, with some simple puzzles along the way. It's pretty easy at first, but around 2/3 into the game enemies start getting a lot stronger, and level ups stop having such a huge impact on your defence. It's not an epic RPG or incredible looking sim, but mixes both for a fun experience.
