The Woods of Fairies

This medium-length work is entertaining from its creative use of the original "Alice in Wonderland" story characters and how they react to the blonde, blue-eyed protagonist in brutal and rather dark ways you might expect from the previews.

Those unexpected extremes for a story we already know adds a type of naughty tone that makes you surprised and almost guilty for finding enticing, even though this is fully happening in only a fantasy story context and via the artist's talented pen. You'd *never* consider such things happening to a teen girl in real life as appropriate or even remotely a turn-on, but in hentai all fantasies seem equally possible of becoming entertaining. This artist does a very good job of making it so.

The drawing style is sometimes a little loose with sketch-lines and light coloring, but it holds details well in winning facial expressions and convincing poses that get across the feelings of each character quite well, panel to panel. So, even if you cannot read the Japanese text, this story - especially if you are familiar with characteristics of the original Alice In Wonderland - is easy to follow.

There's everything from provocative nudity of various types of characters to oral sex, straight sex, rape and even guro in this tale - a mix that makes this a darker fantasy tale, despite the light colors. And, that's the key: this is easily fantastical stuff, not at all real. So, you can enjoy the story for its entertainment values of the warped story, action sequences, known character use - whatever matters to you - as nobody in real life is remotely harmed in this production.

Recommended for collectors of hentai which involves any combination of darker fantasy stories, fans of the original Wonderland tale or teen-like female hentai characters with slim, hairless bodies.
