If you're even looking at this game, you've probably at the very least looked at its prequel, so rather than say something that has already been said about it's predecessor, let me just say that it's more of the same. This game picks up exactly where the last one left off, and in fact, if you have the previous game, you can merge them together so that both parts can be played as one game.

If you haven't played the first game, I would HIGHLY recommend playing that first; this trilogy is meant to be played from start to finish, and this game would be far less enjoyable if played as a standalone game.

This game compares very favorably to the first, you have a little more freedom in your battle strategies than in the first game, though some fights still have specific gimmicks. I enjoyed many of the new monster girls, but there are some that I absolutely hated as well. That however, is a matter of personal taste. I'm not a fan of insect girls, and there are a lot of them in part two, but the succubi, slimes and many others more than make it up for it. If you played the first game and thought "HEY! why wasn't there a ____ girl?" Part 2 addresses many of those concerns, while throwing in several really creative ones that you wouldn't expect.

The plot certainly starts to pick up, and the humor and charm of the first games writing keeps getting better. I found the "ending" of part one to be unsatisfying; this game is part 2 of 3, so it still has a cliffhanger leading up to the final volume, but it still has a much better ending than the first, and I'm excitedly looking forward to the stories conclusion.

If you liked the first, do yourself a favor and get this. If you did not like part one, this game will do little to change your mind, but for lovers of RPG games and monster girls, I cannot recommend this series enough.
