The Popotan artwork is very well done for all of the girls. However the game does not add much. The contents are mostly HCGs which are used in a 4x4 puzzle block game. You go through 21 games to get a password to unlock the last, #22, HCG. You can also view the images outside the game so once you have all of them, you could just delete the game and keep the images.

If you're looking for some good gaming quality, look elsewhere. If your looking for some good Popotan pics, then get this.

PeroPero Candy has several games out like this. This is one of the more basic ones. It appears it may be one of their earliest. The game vaguely is a parody from Neon Genesis Eva**elion centered around Ayanami. The storyline is straight froward and has one ending. While each scene can be replayed to get all of the content, none of them has any effect on the following scene. They are essentially all self-contained chapters.

Pickup!Worth the price, but not much more

The game is good for the price that's listed, but not really any more. The graphics are good, but gameplay is rather limited. 2 pics for each girl.

The good thing is, it should be possible for anyone to beat the game as they offer 3 modes with increasing number of lives and slower ball speeds the easier the level. There is still the challenge mode listed which really is a pain. While they give you more lives than even the easiest mode, the ball is much faster combined with the fact you only knock out 1 pixel at a time.

The artowrk is pretty good for what they are, which is just 1 pose for each game in various states of (un)dress. What is drawn is decent quality, just feels like there wasn't much.

The gameplay is very simplistic. You have only the breakout ball for hitting perfect center. No other powerups. Also the 1st level with Miyuki was poorly designed with blocks that need to be broke out below your pad, thus making one chose between risking losing a life or not going after those blocks at all.

Bottom line is if you don't have much money to spend, like the Lucky Star girls, and these type of games it's worth it...or you think you won't win at most because easy mode really is easy on this game. If you can though try for something a bit more sophisticated.

Princess Raper is an okay game. Nothing really stands out about the title.

The graphics are okay, nothing spectacular and there aren't a lot of them, 3 for each girl. If you really like humongous breasts and monsters then it might be enough.

The combat engine here was pretty simplistic. There are basically 3 units, even the princesses are one of them. Combat is all about setup. Once you start the game there is zero interaction. You get more troops to deploy if you do well, however it's possible to get negative points and actually get fewer troops. This is especially true on later levels.

The translation wasn't done to well either. At times I didn't know who was saying what and what they were saying actually. I was able to get the overall picture at least, but it was still only somewhat better than machine translation at times.

The storyline at least wasn't quite cookie-cutter being that you played from the villians standpoint, up until near the end it was pretty much standard. The ending made me wonder what was happening for a bit. I think I figured it out, but I'm not sure everyone would.

Way is heavily revolved around the cardgame, a variation of hanafuda (the main difference is that scoring only matters for the player, not the opponent). Almost everything revolves around the and how well you do. Very little choice is made outside the cardgame that determines anything.

The Cardgame's AI does seem rather poorly programed, even for later stages in the game. It could be argued that either only your hand matters and the AI should play to stop you from winning or the that it should play a normal game as though it could win. Unfortunate, the AI does neither. It doesn't really try to get any combos usually. Multiple times I've seen the AI put down a card that 2/4 had been played and captured already when it still had a card that could take something on the field and it didn't have card #4. I've also seen it lay cards that gave me a decent of points only to put something out later that gave me zero. This is the same for the basic training mode as it is for some of the sex matches.

The artwork is fairly good quality as well, especially the designs on the cards are very detailed. The sex scenes are semi-animated, but nothing like other games out there. Don't be expecting too much there.

The storyline is done in bits a pieces between cardgames. You have to meet certain hidden criteria. You can usually tell a storyline advance because you'll either advance in sex scenes and/or the screen will give a white flash.

The game gives some hints on how to advance the game and make it easier on yourself, but they are vague. Some people might not like this vagueness, though I think it lends a nice sense of reality to the game, without making it too difficult most of the time to know what you need to do.

The translation quality on the game is haphazard. There are some really good phrases and then there are a lot of poorly worded items. There is also a lot of directly direct offensive language as well which might turn off some players.

The manga, both Japanese and English version, are in grayscale (looks like it was downgraded from full color for downloaded versions). They artwork is still high quality despite the reduced color pallete.

The translation is decent. There aren't any spelling mistakes, but there are a few badly worded lines. Nothing incomprehensible, just awkward and not how someone would normally say something. I was always able to tell what was being said pretty easily, so that's why I say it's decent, not good, but better than passable. The font used was more of an issue than the translation at times, specifically the Ms look a lot like Ns.

Overall though this is a good quality translation. I would like to see more Luc*y Star doujin translated if they would be at least this quality.

The game premise is actually good mix of photography mini-game and other mini-games dealing with the girl. Unfortunately, it is just that, 1 girl, and for some members the subject might not be their particular interest. I would suggest downloading the demo before you buy this to make certain it's the type of game you'd like, gameplay-wsise.

The translation quality was very good quality, comparable to anything put out by a quality professional company.

The 2D artwork was also of similar quality, though it is only used for transitional purposes. The 3D artwork was, for what they game was going for, pretty well done as well, thought the backgrounds could have used a bit more detail.

The sound, well not much much to say about it. There's almost zero ambiant noise, no musical score really and the only sound effects are with your camera, the girl, or exterior game mechanics (such as bonuses). The game doesn't seem to suffer much from this most of the time, though the first area could use some more.

The gameplay is what makes this game though. The camera mini-game specifically. It is difficult to get a perfect picture and shouldn't really be attempted when you're going through story mode as you are specifically trying to aquire points and getting the perfect alignment can cost valuable time, which is limited.

Overall the game is generally a fresh twist on the idea of some of the photography games from the past.
