Kanzen Koryaku is a fast and not very fancy, but still very nice product by Crimson. It is one of their earlier forays into flash games, though not their first by far. It is a single prolonged scene, concerning itself with the misadventures of the title character on board a train at the hands of a group of molestors. It's your fairly standard Crimson tale and if you've seen any of their work before, you can safely guess how things go.

The product comes with both a html cg/story gallery and a voiced flash animation. Curiously for Crimson, the flash section actually does NOT have story text nor even much dialog, beyond a few proclamations of denial from our heroine and plenty of erotic moaning. It contains none of the bells and whistles you find in their other, later works. There is no interactive scenes, games, puzzles, or even the demand for the viewer to click to proceed through the scenes. This plays to it's advantage however, as it allows the viewer to merely kick back and enjoy.

If you ARE curious about the story, Crimson does have you covered in the CG section which includes some descriptive text and dialog. It's nothing as big as the mini-novels they include in more recent works, but it does a good job of setting the scenes.

Kanzen Koryaku is a lot more raw and unpolished than some later works however. The artwork isn't as crisp, the voice work is recorded very roughly, and the html section can be troublesome to navigate. There is something great about how simple and straightforward the whole thing is though. The entire scene comes off as little more hardcore and sex-focused than many of their later groping-focused products, yet retains their customary style and focus on the woman's arousal.

Despite showing it's age in places, this is still a great buy.

Pickup!Better Game than an H-Title

J-Girl.FIGHT2
Crimson

"Sephi**a" was captured by the enemy organization; being tortured while her friends listened to her via the communication equipment.
X-ratedGameOthers FlashInc. VoiceTrial
  • Release: Aug/26/2008

Crimson's original J-Girl Fight was a rather epic undertaking by the Circle, creating an extremely enjoyable h-game that featured a wide variety of female characters from popular games and manga. It was probably one of the most popular titles released by the circle.

J-Girl Fight 2 aims to repeat that with some mixed success. The gameplay is probably the main draw of this product. Featuring a combat system similar to a standard JRPG, you are tasked with assembling a team of girls from popular franchises and heading out to defeat other notable ladies. Each victory you achieve unlocks one or more new characters for your roster, but also increases the difficulty.

Many the battles play out more like puzzles than fights, as there are only a handful you can brute-force your way through. As nearly every character has different strengths and abilities, you'll find yourself spending a lot of time in test-and-failure attempts to figure out just which line up you need to win each battle. Though this COULD be tedious, because the fights play out so quickly it only rarely slides into that area and for the most part remains an enjoyable challenge.

Of course, because this IS Crimson, every battle you win also unlocks some hentai. This can range from simple CG images for 'minor' characters to fully voiced scenes for more challenging foes. Fans of the first game may be somewhat disappointed by the selection in part 2 though. There are nowhere near as many CG pictures for side-characters and the actual h-scenes themselves for overcoming boss-caliber characters are rather underwhelming.

This by no means makes it a bad game, but it does fall behind somewhat compared to the first of the series. It's still fun to play through without even looking at the hentai sections and the hentai is still Crimson, so you know it's going to be pretty good just the same.

Ecstasy KO

The story progresses automatically like a novel in auto-mode, and you can also control the story and what happens to the girl's body with the interactive mode

Ecstasy KO is another greater offering by Crimson that manages to side step certain issues found in other games they've offered. The product includes both a fully voiced flash game and a gallery mode html that contains all of the story text and CG.

There are fewer characters featured than in many Crimson works, but featuring a smaller cast also allows them to devote more time to each scene. As is typical of Crimson, they do strip down the minor details of some of the designs, specifically in this instance Morrigan of Darkstalkers fame, which does hurt the over all quality. However, they made a good choice with the other characters by picking designs already very streamlined and detail-lite that work extremely well with the circle's style of art.

Ecstasy KO nearly hits a major pitfall with it's flash section, thanks in part to the poor choice to reuse the game mechanics from Dancing F - Nami Extreme. As in that product, the game is an interactive touch system where you must click certain areas on the female to build certain meters that lead to the next pictures. It shares the flaw of giving you far too little time between clicks to effectively build a sought-after combo and results in a very frantic rush to click that, in turn, hammers your ears with a series of cut-off voice lines. It's awkward and unenjoyable.

Thankfully, it's also completely optional. Seeming to have learned their lesson from Nami Extreme, the Circle has opted to allow you to view the flash section without the interactive sections. Playing out as a simple voice acted animation, this is a very welcome addition that hopefully will find it's way into future games.

All in all, Ecstasy KO is great offering from Crimson and worth a look for fan and new comer alike.

Female Sage LV_X
CARYO
$14.80 / 1,620 JPY
Female sage is on the receiving end of assault, attack, humiliation, then group attacks and bodily fluid shower!
X-ratedGameDigital NovelEXEInc. VoiceInc. MusicInc. AnimeTrial
  • Release: Dec/23/2008
  • DL: 47

Caryo's works are always a mixed bag for me. As a general rule I love their art style, but don't care much for some of the content. With Female Sage LV_X, it's actually as often the art itself as the content throwing me off.

It's a simple enough game, starting a generic Sage from D**gon Quest and her misadventures at the hands of monsters and men alike. These are mostly rape scenes, so buyer beware if that's not your thing. They also feature things like body distortion, belly bloating, massive insertions, and so forth and though not EVERY scene does so, the majority do.

All scenes are accessed through a list, displayed several options at a time, that is easy to navigate and resembles the menu screen from the game it's base on, which is a nice touch. Every scene starts out black, with some exposition or voice acting to set things up. The voice actress for the sage does a pretty good job, though she's not particularly outstanding.

Each scene is also only a single picture and usually just a single alternate (which can be disappointing or a great relief depending on which scene you get into). They play extremely short and quick, so it doesn't take long to get through them. This can be good, if you don't care for a particular scene and want to get to the next, but it also means that when you find something you do like, there just isn't much of it.

While there is a great variety in content, there is actually a variety in artwork too. I'm not certain if Caryo was featuring guest artists here or just experimenting, but you'll find that the art style seems to change radically between some scenes and not always for the better. It's most noticeable in the design for the Sage herself, which can shift wildly from scene to scene.

Most of the art is at least decent though, so it's still worth checking out if you enjoy the Circles other works.

Tentacle-Hunter MAI
BAD COMPANY

Mai hunts the tentacles as a magical girl. This is a light adventure with voice and animation!

Everyone has probably seen magical girl hentai products before. In shows, cg sets, visual novels: they're everywhere. This is Bad Company's take on one and while it's far from the best thing they've done, it's clear they were mostly just having a good time with it. Using the stock characters from Devil's Island, it features the pink-haired Mai turning into a magical girl for no good reason, complete with a talking animal side-kick, nude transformation, and goofy shouty powers. As is the standard for magical girl hentai, she's not very good at her job. She always arrives too late to actually spare any of the other girls a round with the tentacles and frequently gets done over by demons herself.

The artwork is... okay. Mai looks cute in her magical girl outfit, but no one else is particularly outstanding this time around. Which isn't to say anyone looks bad, but none of the characters wowed me like they would from time to time in other Bad Company products.

The monsters looked really good, but Bad Company monsters almost always do. Like the girls, there were no outstanding designs in the lot, but it's not really a complaint. Even just rated "serviceable" by Bad Company standards still means they're a cut above.

All in all, Tentacle-Hunter Mai was okay. It doesn't really offer anything new to the whole magical girl angle and less than most, since there is only one magical girl instead of a whole team. It's fun and Bad Company fans should like it, but it's hard to see anyone else finding it all that great.

TENTACLE CITY
BAD COMPANY
$9.87 / 1,080 JPY
One by one the girls are captured and coerced to reproduction by an invading swarm...
X-ratedSoftwareCG+NovelHTML + Image
  • Release: May/09/2010

Tentacle City is a good offering from Bad Company, one of my favorite circles for tentacles and monsters. The premise if a great one, in which an entire futuristic city is invaded by tentacles intent on defiling every lady within reach. This could have been a rather epic piece of eroticism, but unfortunately it falls short of that by focusing almost exclusively on two characters, relegating to the realm of just 'still good.'

Neatly arranged into an easy to navigate html page, with both a chapter-by-chapter story section, complete with a text story to go with the images, and a separate gallery section if you didn't want to bother. The designs on the two lead girls are both up to snuff for Bad Company, but not my favorites. The warrior-girl Risa (last scene, to my knowledge, staring in her own 'In the Cage') looks nice, but the blond Akane is just sort of bland here. Yui makes an all too brief guest appearance as well.

My real problem with Tentacle City was it's unrealized premise. With the promise of a city-scale tentacle invasion, I was looking forward to images of dozens of women being scooped up at once or at least a wide array of different girls in single shots. Instead though what you get is the two main girls in all but one image and of them, only one image where both are visible at the same time (and even then only one is being attacked by tentacles). The Shokushu Ryoujyoku Gakuen series actually ends up pulling this products premise off better than it does.

In the end though, it IS Bad Company and the artwork and monster designs are still pretty damn good. My only hope is that they make a part two where the city gets explored a little more.

Pickup! Not the Best "In the Cage," But Up There

YUI IN THE CAGE

The 'in the Cage' series comes off a bit as Bad Companies real show-case series, where they tend to break out the best they have to offer in design, animation, and voice work. Yui in the Cage is one of their latest offerings and though it's not the greatest of the series, is certainly one of the top contenders.

The design on Yui is one of the big appeals here. Normally depicted as an older teacher in the Devil's Island setting, here she is a younger schoolgirl. Bad Company managed to make a general generic schoolgirl design look extremely good. She is pretty, feminine, and pale and the long black hair is a new look for Bad Companies normally short-haired females. This version of her is easily my favorite Bad Company design.

The monster designs are top-notch. Red is the primary color for the beast. Done poorly it could have been painful to look at, but the circle shows it's usual thoughtfulness and care in the design and gives us something vibrant and hideous all at once. It's covered in inhuman eyes and maws filled with menacing fangs.

The only real complaint I had was the voice work. It wasn't bad, but they've featured better. The voice actress, credited as Amua, had a pleasant voice but one that didn't entirely seem to fit the character. She was a little too girlish, where the design seemed to call for something that would sound slightly cooler and more mature. That's a minor point though. The main problem was how short and awkwardly edited the voice-loops were. At times it sounded really choppy.

It's a pretty small flaw for an otherwise outstanding product though. While I still consider Kumi 1&2 to be the best In The Cage products, Yui is a very close second.

I'm a big fan of Bad Company, so take it with a grain of salt when I say that this is a great little CG set from them. A collection of still art from two of their animated works, it really has to be said that some of the images actually hold up better as still pictures instead of animations (which is to say nothing against their animation quality). In this set of 30 pictures, you can get a real appreciation for the quality, detail, and creativity of Bad Company's monster designs. I still hold they're some of the best at this and probably the only circle who could do a reindeer tentacle demon raping a girl-Santa and actually pull it off.

The designs on the female characters are all attractive and well colored. Some of the anatomy on hands and feet can be a little distorted, but it's not due to bad art so much as odd perspectives for the most part. It's their usual stable of ladies from their main bodies or work, almost all of whom will be familiar to anyone who follows Bad Company. Most are just dressed as school girls, but Bad Company shows off it's creative side with them here and there too, dressing them up in tennis uniforms or magical girl costumes.

There is no delivery system for the pictures. No html page or anything. This actually works to the sets advantage though, since there really isn't anything but pictures. It's probably a LITTLE overpriced, since you can pay just a few dollars more and get these same images with VAs and animation, but all in all it's not unfair for the amount of content provided.

Chukan Densha (Molestation Train)

$9.87 / 1,080 JPY
Groping girls in jam packed train game, involving 4 original girl characters. Story varies at your choices.

It's rare to encounter works like this without voice acting or music, but ump's Chukan Densha (Molestation Train) can actually stand quiet well without either. Part of it is the artwork. Though far from the highest quality you can find on dlsite, it's never the less extremely solid with a very nice use of anatomy and tone. Each of the four girls featured is both distinct in appearance and extremely attractive, if following a somewhat generic schoolgirl design.

As the name implies, this is a cg set (I hesitate to call it a game or even visual novel. There really needs to be a better term for this sort of thing. Hentai Delivery System?) that focuses on train molestation, which a good deal of the pictures are devoted to. There are also sex and oral scenes. Some might find the images tame for dlsite standards, but they vary a good deal in position and perspective, so they're never dull. You can chose to view the cg in either a sort of "story mode" for each girls, where picking different options will reveal new images, which also unlocks them in a cg mode (fairly standard for visual novel style products).

Though no voice-work is featured, each of the scenes features a text box with dialog and descriptions. Unfortunately due to the unique and somewhat strange program ump uses for it's products, there is seemingly no obvious way to pluck the text from the box (which itself is it's own separate mini-window from the cg window, marking the first time I ever recall seeing something like this in a product), so if you don't read Japanese you won't get to enjoy the writing.

Over all, despite the lack of bells and whistles, this is a very solid offering from ump and worth a look.

Secret room 2

Keywords the reviewer selected :

The second of what is thus far only two titles offered by Dsite, Secret Room 2 bares the same extremely stylized and distinctive artwork the circle first displayed in the first Secret Room. It's a good style, particularly on the girls, whose large eyes and exaggerated sexual features give them a look of sensual innocence.

The men, unfortunately, are a very bizarre looking group. Their range covers everything from corpulent muscled giants to what appear to be athletic midgets. Unlike the girls, it's extremely difficult to tell if they're simply SO stylized that they've become unintentionally grotesque or if it was deliberate you have giant blubbery masses and infant-sized men. Though the girls certainly draw the eye away from them on casual looks, any more careful examination make them stand out as distractions.

There isn't exactly any story to speak of. There are two segments, each featuring a different girl who is brought to a "secret room" (in this case simply implying a private location) and raped by one or more monstrous males. The young lady from the first Secret Room is featured in the first segment. This one is more or less a flat-out gang rape and little else. In the second segment though, they take a turn into fetishes like belly-bloating and enemas which I didn't care for, but may be more to the tastes of others.

Everything is well laid out in html menus. Like the previous Secret Room, a great deal of what could only be called "bonus features" are included, comprised of line-art, character design sheets, and even bonus h-images. Though some of the last of these are rather unpleasant, the extra content even being included at all really helps further the idea that Dsite was a real class act and makes one wish they put out more works.
