There was a trend back in the middle 1990s of porting popular fighting games to the monochrome hand-held console we all know and love. We didn't care why they felt it necessary to try and compress games that were either 16-bit slugfests or polygonal arena battles into the 8-bit console; the novelty was there, and it was a convenient tie-in to the franchise. Never mind that the battle cries were sacrificed and in most cases the characters were put into SD mockeries of themselves; it was one of our favorite fighting games, and we could take it anywhere.

In this game, StudioS brilliantly parodies that trend. The characters from their previous release, Strip Fighter IV, have been put in their own pseudo-Game B*y game. It isn't simply a graphical hack, either; the sound is tinny, the animation jerky, and the music reduced to a limited MIDI remix of each theme. And the nudity and tentacle rape have been put into monochrome pixellated glory. In other words, it's exactly what you'd expect if this had actually happened back in the mid-90's. And it's awesome in a humorous way.

All of the moves are there, though condensed to a 2-button watered-down system so they are a little easier to pull off. The control doesn't suffer much from this, however; it's still about as fluid as the original. In fact, this really is the same game, but with fewer colors and simpler sound. If you liked the original, you really should try this game, even if just for a laugh.

DiveTheElf is a shooter game with a fantasy theme which puts you in control of either an archer girl with angel wings or a flying sorceress. Like most shooters, your goal here is to make it to the end of the level, shoot down enemies, collect gold pieces for points, and defeat the boss at the end to proceed to the next level. The game gives you a great number of weapons; you can select from your special weapons at the start, and these fire with one button. Two other buttons fire your primary and secondary weapons, both of which can be charged for a special attack. Both these special attacks and your chosen special weapon consume power that slowly recharges. Stages are filled with hazards and relatively easy enemies you have to shoot down. Running into walls or hazards, getting shot or running into enemies depletes energy from your life bar, and you have to start the level over if you run out of life, although you can retry an infinite number of times.

As shooters go, the stages themselves in this game aren't quite so difficult as their bosses that you have to defeat at the end. Graphically, this is what you'd expect of Sougen Ichiba: awesome graphics, awesome effects, awesome sound, and... well, MIDI music you can't complain too much about. The game programmers recommend you play it with a gamepad, and for a good reason: good control is essential in this game. Bosses can fill the screen with attacks more and more as you progress, and while getting hit doesn't do too much damage individually, it can add up quickly, and you are never invincible after getting hit. As you complete stages, you are rewarded with pictures of naked elves in bondage. You talk to the elf girls you rescue and the end bosses in the game's story mode, but that's the only difference between the story mode and the more simply-executed stage mode. Overall, this is a decent shooter game with enough challenge to keep most players busy.

Smack Into the Asteroids, And Protect Earth from the Little Girls!, otherwise known as Shouwakusei wo Butsuketekuru Lolicon Kara Chikyuu wo Mamoru geimu!, should not only be recognizable for its ridiculously long title, but also for its challenging and hooking gameplay. The premise is that you, in a space battleship, must divert or destroy the incoming asteroids and prevent them from reaching and damaging the earth. You do this not with powerful weaponry, but by launching small robots at them to crash into them. I think they're unmanned... at least, I hope so. At any rate, asteroids fall sometimes in patterns, other times haphazardly, and in various sizes. You can destroy them or divert their paths, or ram into them with your ship; this last course of action results in damage to your ship, and both you and Earth can only take so much. Power-ups drop in the form of upgrades to how many robots you launch at once, and the size of your robotic ammunition, as well as hearts that heal the planet and life upgrades that repair your ship.

But wait, didn't this game mention something about little girls? Yes, it did. Your goal isn't just to destroy asteroids, but to destroy the giant robot bosses of the armies commanded by lolis. When you destroy the boss, you go on to the next stage, right? Well, yes, but the girl also strips. Is there a reason? ... What, you need one?

Gameplay-wise, this is a shooter game that sort of combines old games like Sp*ce Inv*ders and Astr*blast with a strip game. There are four girls to select from, and as you play through each of their stages, the game gets progressively harder. And I don't believe I'm kidding when I say the game doesn't screw around even at the early stages; the screen can get so full of asteroids and robots from the bosses that at times the action gets very intense, and you almost don't care about the progressively stripping loli at the side of the screen. Almost. But is it fun even without the nudity gimmick? Absolutely!

This is a strip blackjack game that pits you against three characters from an anime/manga series about a Catholic girls' school. If you're thinking it's lesbian homoerotica as many fans of this series may like to see, however, look elsewhere; you are a boy, probably from another school. (I don't follow this series, so I don't recognize him.) The premise here is simple; you meet up with three girls from the school and play strip blackjack with each one of them in succession. Each of you starts with 10 chips, and at the beginning of each hand you can bet up to 5 chips. Whoever runs out of chips, strips.

Beyond the nudity, there's really not much in the hentai department. The artwork is decent, but nothing spectacular. If you lose, you can continue where you left off, but for some reason this changes the music if you started from the beginning. Otherwise, there isn't a lot to say about this game. Fans of the manga may want to try it if only to see naked schoolgirls. None of the girls play against you in their sailorfuku, however. Sigh.

Datsuburo! act 4 is the fourth in a series of collections of block-breaking games featuring girls from anime released in the previous year. The game implements a familiar system in an HTML menu that allows you to select from 38 girls. My ignorant self doesn't know who they all are, so I'll say this: There are girls in uniforms, girls in bikinis, girls in skimpy clothing, girls in conservative clothing, girls in costume, and girls in spandex, just to name but a few. And your task is simple: to knock those clothes off of them.

Fun, right? Well, if you like block-breaking (or any) games that reward you with naked chicks, as I do, of course it is. But because of the high amount of content in this as with previous releases, there's a lot to do if you want to see them all. To begin with, as with other games that use this system, the girls' clothes are broken off in rather tiny sections, but there are a number of power-ups placed in set "blocks" on each girl that will help you clear things out a lot quicker. There are some flaws, however, as with other games that use this system. Mainly, it isn't always clear what counts as a block, and sometimes your ball will bounce off of something that just seems to be part of the background, and the "boost" button which makes your ball travel faster is the same button utilized by a few other power-ups, meaning if you aren't watching the meter, you can accidentally make your ball speed down to its untimely doom.

Overall, though, the artwork is nothing to complain about, so if you enjoyed the previous Datsuburo! releases and/or other block-breaking games that used this system, you won't be disappointed by this one.

A fully-voiced strip mahjong featuring 4 characters from Saki.

Saki Datsu Mahjongg is a game that puts you, the faceless male lead, against four girls in sailorfuku in games of mahjongg. After the intro, you begin by picking your opponent, and proceed through match after match until either she or you run out of points, at which point, depending on whether you win or lose, either she lets you have your way with her or the girls gang up on you and humiliate you over a desk. There are three scenes per opponent that you can win, though once you've won all three from an opponent, you can no longer play against her.

As is typical of a Yaoyorozu Koubou game, this game is presented extremely well. The artwork is superb, and the girls are fully voiced both during the game and cutscenes. The game, however, is not going to give you your hentai without a fight. It gives both you and the opponent generous hands to start with, but without the aid of the power-ups that you can buy, the girl seems to win far more often than you do. Also, like other "strip" games by this circle, this isn't a strip game; it's a sex game. Even though stripping as a penalty is mentioned, every scene is some sort of sexual favor or penalty. Some may argue that that's a good thing, however, so if you like sex-mahjongg games, or H mahjongg games in general, this is a top-notch example of one that you must try.

Bruma Hammer takes a side-scrolling action platformer and adds in a goal that involves the background: to knock the clothes off of the girl that looms behind you. There is a time limit to each stage, and there are endless waves of odd enemies and hazards that knock time off your clock when you get hit, but the treasure you pick up when you defeat them extends your time. Your only method of attack is the giant hammer that you carry, which not only is used to bash enemies but to damage the girl's clothes; what you can damage is shown as brighter on the girl's body than the rest, and as you destroy clothes, you also knock obstacles out of your way. Once you've stripped the girl, you move on to the next stage. If you wish to see the girl in all her naked glory, though, you'll need to go to the game's CG mode, where you can dress and undress the girl as you like.

Even though, perspective-wise, the game makes no sense, it's nonetheless fun to play. There isn't much challenge to it and the artwork is superb, and while the music sounds repetitious, the sound and graphic effects more than make up for it. This isn't, of course, the first game to involve the girl in the background as the primary target, but I definitely haven't seen a side-scroller interpretation of this sort of game until now. It's softcore for a hentai game, so hardcore fans may shy away from this, but it's definitely worth a play or ten.

DOOM type 3D tag game to catch escaping girls. Containing bonus CG pictures and voices for each stages.
R-ratedActionEXEInc. Voice
  • Release: Mar/15/2004

Keywords the reviewer selected :

Narisu wo Tsukamaero is probably the only game of its kind in one aspect. You're placed in a 3D environment much like first-person shooter games, and given a few seconds to familiarize yourself with the environment (which seems to be a futuristic hall of a spaceship or starbase) before a girl in sailorfuku appears. The object then is to catch her before she breaks all the crystals. You move by holding down the mouse button and moving the cursor over the screen to go forward or turn, which probably takes a little getting used to unless you've played a few driving-type games that also use the mouse. Narisu is a little faster than you are, but she often stops to taunt you and slows down when taking turns. You also have a weapon that tosses sludge onto the floor which can slow her down. Of course, when you catch her, we come to the real reason this game was made: she progressively takes off clothes as you clear stages.

So, this game's pretty funny, and actually quite fun to play. However, it was made during the Windows 98 era, therefore, to run it in XP or beyond you will need to run the game in compatibility mode. That said, I don't know if there are other games similar to this in terms of the execution and goal, so if you'd like a unique approach to strip-the-girl games that's addictive and ecchi at the same time, give Narisu wo Tsukamaero a try.

X-ratedTabletopEXE
  • Release: Sep/10/2009

Keywords the reviewer selected :

Okusama to Himitsu Block-breaking is a block-breaking game that uses the Gekiretsu Block-breaking system, the object behind the game being to knock the clothes off of Mie Saeki, the busty female lead from the game's namesake. It's another GBlock game, so there isn't much to say here; you have three levels of difficulty, but all that's really affected is how many balls you get, and the game is easy enough to be completed without losing a ball.

It's okay artwork-wise, but my only complaint is the sound. There isn't any music (not that I expected it), but the sound when you break blocks of clothing is unnecessarily loud. The game is otherwise standard fare for a GBlock game: only two stages between you and a naked girl. If you like to play block-breaking games or just like to strip busty women, this game is worth a look and not at all expensive.

Keywords the reviewer selected :

Rorikko Mahjong is a straightforward mahjongg game versus a series of lolis. You play against them in several rounds of mahjongg, and if you manage to run them out of points or come out on top after a few rounds, you're rewarded with their naked bodies.

The game itself is very generous with high-scoring mahjongg hands. You rarely get a hand that doesn't have any concealed chis or pons or lots of potential. Unfortunately, neither does the opponent. The AI also isn't brain-dead; although it gets progressively harder, even versus the first girl it is possible she will go out with a high-scoring hand. If you've played mahjongg before, however, you will find the game to be suitable for novice players but not without its challenges. Expert players will probably breeze through this game.

The music in this game is okay; there are only a few songs. The game's high point is its artwork. There isn't any sex in this game, just naked lolis. Although I personally would have preferred progressive strip scenes for the girls, they are drawn adorably innocent and almost as if they're quite happy to be playing with you. Therefore, fans of loli art should really check this game out.
